So many layers to being a black woman. Learning how to braid my hair was one of the many levels I planned to reach and I was able to do some feed ins on myself for the first time 🥰

I love that when I tell my friends I need time to myself and I don’t want to be around anyone they understand that.

Don’t seek cheer, love, acknowledgement, understanding etc. it’ll all come once u focus on yourself then all the “I’m so proud” statements will pour in and you’ll see who’s who.
