The supernatural phenomenon behind the 'fiery red-eyed demon' that roams the school halls.... that's what Shuichi was tasked with investigating. This time, at the desperate request of Usami, who has reported seeing that mysterious entity, along with other students. The way she sounded so scared, and her wish to ease her students' worries, along with her own.. it's why Shuichi couldn't possibly say no. Just like with any of his clients; he will not rest until he succeeds in helping them. The truth behind what everyone is actually seeing, is what he's determined to unravel. Not only him, but also his small kouhai who has actually joined him.

"Alright, Yuma... we're here." The two now stand before the main gate. With how dark it is, the giant school looks even more imposing... "I know it's very late right now, but I appreciate you wanting to join me on this. As I believe you said that your brother...also saw this 'fiery eyed spirit' one night, if I'm right? Described just how Usami and everyone saw it... this really is strange.. but, there's no way it's an actual demon everyone has been seeing, right?"

"...No, of course not. There definitely has to be a logical explanation to all this... and we're going to find it, by uncovering the truth. So that Usami, your brother, and everyone, can rest easy... I know we can do it; especially with my talented kouhai by my side." He chuckles softly, giving a small pat to his back. "That being said, trying to find anything, let alone a person, in this gigantic school, is like finding a needle in a haystack. So this might take quite a while; are you ready, Yuma? Though I'm sure you're fully prepared, even while knowing that, anyway."

*junpei is flipping through the channels trying to find something to watch when he stumbles across a nature documentary! he watches a few lions lazing about before blinking when he hears that male lions can sleep for around 18 to 20 hours a day!*

*he then not so subtly glances at makoto before just as quickly looking back towards the tv. he doesn't say a word, but at the same time junpei isn't bothering to hide the giant grin on his face!!*

".....I can see that smile on your face, you know." And he saw that glance he made towards him. He's not seaky! He leans over to playfully tug his cheek.

"Well, I guess I do act like a big cat, sometimes... but even I don't think I could sleep that long. Maybe I'm just a cub, still.... I haven't reached my true potential as a lion, yet. Ahh, how I can't wait to be able to sleep that long..."

He snickers, of course having to play along, regardless!

The initial sleepiness that Kaede was feeling after a very long and fun night of partying, melted away in a new wave of excitement when Mondo proposed the idea of having breakfast together at a waffle place, wiggling happily in his arms when he had picked her up. Trying new eateries that she hadn't been to before was one of her most favorite things to do, even moreso with someone else; that someone being her favorite biker, making it all the more better!

Even as she rides in the passenger seat in his motorcycle, Kaede wasn't afraid. After all, it wasn't a bicycle; that's different! Plus, she's gotten a little bit used to it, and with Mondo always making sure she's okay while riding in it; she knew she had nothing to fear. In fact, she was all smiles as she watches the passing scenery. "Ahh, I'm so excited to try this place out! I can't remember the last time I had some waffles; I can't wait to see what different kinds they have~! I know you said you heard of it, so will this be your first time trying it, too, Mondo?" She asks while looking up at him with a curious headtilt and smile!

“A... ah, excuse me...?”

Hope had been wandering about the dorm buildings for a while, trying to see if she could just levitate her way up to them instead of asking someone else. That turned into her giving in, looking for someone else outside, and finding a boy who looked like he spent a half hour every morning spiking his hair. He... seemed nice enough, though. Almost seemed like he could be in a different room of class 79, as well.

“Is... is there a w... a way onto t... the roof, from somewhere....? Th.. There’s supposed t... supposed to be a meteor sh.... shower, tonight a.... and I can’t see it from m..... can’t see it from anywhere else....”

*it's early morning and yuma is having a nice cuddle with shinigami~!! he's curled up in bed while 'holding' the tiny, mischievous spirit, his eyes closed and his voice sounding as if he's on the verge of falling asleep~*

"You feel so cool, Shinigami... Perfect for summer..." *in his daze he gives her a small peck between her horns before releasing a soft sigh, completely dozing off~*

Shinigami is just as happily snuggling up with Yuma! She giggles while squirming happily in place, loving how warm Yuma feels in constrast to her colder, misty body~!

("Hehehe... all the more reason to snuggle me lots more often, right~? I'll keep my toasty Master niiiice and cool so he doesn't turned into a steamed kokonut!") Then when he gives her that peck between her horns, she gasps and her own cheeks light up! ("W-Wow~! Is my darling master getting more bold? About time~!") She teases, mostly to hide the fact she's a little flustered~! But as Yuma falls asleep, she gives him a soft peck in turn and makes herself less and less transparent so that he's actually holding her body.

("Have a nice nap, my beloved Master....") And with that, she also begins to doze off, to enjoy this nap just as much with him...

*pika yawns before excitedly walking towards a small mountain of blankets, determined to curl up underneath them to take a nap. however, when he peeks his head in he yelps as he sees someone's already inside it! instantly he starts trying to wiggle out, not wanting to disturb their little den!*

It was CC under there, Bobby having playfully placed her under the blankets earlier. Though she was so cozy and snug, she still didn't want to move! Then when she saw Pikachu try entering the den, she looks up at him with a wide smile and eyes. And before he could try wiggling out, she gently grabs him by the tail with her mouth, before dragging him right back in!!

"Arf!!" Her fluffy making thumping noises against the blanket when it began wagging, she starts lapping his cheek, indicating she happily does not mind his company and in fact, would like for him to stay!!

Shuichi had been looking so forward to his date tomorrow with his boyfriend; but now, it had been ruined by a cold he developed throughout the day. He never enjoys being sick, but he especially hated the fact he caught one right before the night they were supposed to be having their date. He was laying in bed right now, the occasional cough or sneeze leaving him. His nose felt stuffed and his face was flushed: he felt completely awful...

“ueeuuee.... why couldn’t I at least had gotten sick after the day of our date...” He mutters to himself with a sigh, coughing into his arm. “And it’s already night, too... I don’t think I can count on getting better before tomorrow comes. I-I... might have just to tell Kaito we won’t be able to do it tomorrow... nnngh...” Which he was going to feel terrible doing, knowing Kaito had been just as excited for their date tomorrow... but in his current condition, he just would not feel okay enough to be able to move about all day tomorrow. And he knows Kaito would not want him to push himself, either...

Another sigh leaving him, Shuichi reaches for his phone sitting close to him. Going to Kaito’s number in his contacts, he waits for him to pick up. Once he does, he clears his throat before weakly mumbling:

“H...Hey, Kaito. W-We... might have to cancel our date tomorrow. I don’t feel so well, and it’s only gotten worse throughout the day, s-so I...don’t think I will feel well enough by tomorrow...” He pauses for a moment to sneeze into his arm, sniffling before he continues.

“S-Sorry, excuse me. B-But yeah, I-I’m really sorry... I know we were both looking forward to it. B..But once I’m better, we can definitely go. I’ll let you know, once I am.... I’m sorry again about this....”

“Guuuh...” Was the reluctant groan Shuichi as he found himself dragged to the amusement park by Kaito. Specifically: its haunted house attraction. Now this normally would’ve been fine... if Kaito wasn’t scared to death of paranormal things, and especially if he wasn’t egged on by a certain Supreme Leader to do this, claiming he’d be too much of a “coward” to brave the haunted house.

And no matter whatever convenient excuses the astronaut gave, Shuichi of course knew why he actually forced hm to come along: for the simple fact that there was no way Kaito was going to actually do this by himself. Much to the detective’s dismay, who would much rather be relaxing some more in his room right now...

And so, the two boys stand before the entrance of the haunted house, Shuichi sighing heavily as he looks up to the boy. “K-Kaito, I’m telling you: you really don’t have to do this. Why do you always let Kokichi get to you like that? You refuse to admit it, b-but I promise you, there is nothing wrong with being scared of haunted houses. S-So come on, let’s please just do something else here...”
