3. Build a buffer to deal with the unexpected: When I made a routine, I found that it was not always possible to follow. We tend to do things unexpected in our schedule and end up sleeping late or waking up late. I found this as the biggest problem in my routine. My schedule was always so packed. I finally left some time to deal with the unexpected. Maybe, my friends are visiting me or I came home late from school. It is always best to keep a buffer.
4. Protect your asset: By 'your asset' I mean protect yourself. You are your biggest asset. Just because you have many things to do, doesn't mean you forget to have food or work out. One of the best ways to be healthy and fit is to eat at a fixed time each day. Sometimes, it may not be possible. During my summer holidays, I used to have lunch at 3 PM but my school breaks were at 1 PM and I always find it difficult to eat at 1:00. Stay fit and healthy.
5. Practice weekly mindfulness: Recognise your weakness and strengths for the week, celebrate the week, note your could, should, would tasks, create goals for next week, summarise it all in one sentence.
6. Break down your goals into steps and make a plan: A goal broken down into steps becomes a plan. A plan put into action becomes a reality.

Find yourself: I read an article few days back in Pinterest, and what I understood from that is you can develop new habits, let go of people who drain your energy, limit your beliefs, and stop following the posts that are wasting your time. But in the end, it is who are you? Are you ready to go from one point of your life to another? Are you ready to make changes and take risk? You are your first priority, it is not egocentric or selfish.
8. " We don't have control over our options, but we have the control over what we choose.": Don't regret your choice. Think carefully and choose. Don't look back in your life 10 years from now and then regret the choice you made. Be it regarding your life, education, work, career or your family.
9. Learn to say no: Don't agree to something which you think is not right. People will feel disappointed but respect you even more than before. Attend parties, meetings, functions. But, only if you think they are beneficial, they would not drain your energy, or waste your time.
