MEDIHEAL is a cosmedical brand that was created and tested by aesthetic specialists using principles of treatments used on beauty clinics for skin troubles most common to women. The Platinum V-Life Essential Mask is designed to firm and lift skin at the same time. Key ingredients include: 0.25mg of colloidal platinum (anti-aging, antioxidant, improves moisturization, helps to protect skin), pomegranate fruit extract (antioxidant, maintains skin health, moisturizing, aids in cell regeneration, nourishing, hydrating, anti-aging, anti-inflammatory), trehalose (rehydrating, water-binding, antioxidant, anti-aging) and tocopheryl acetate (form of Vitamin E; antioxidant, moisturizing, skin conditioning). To quickly note before I get into the review, I received this free from Skin18.com for my honest review, I’m not being paid for this.

This mask comes in 25 ml (0.84 oz) and is made from cellulose; it has a slightly metallic scent, but it's nothing too strong or overwhelming. The mask is very drenched in essence and the fit of the mask is really good. The eyes, nose and mouth holes all fit comfortably. Recommended use is 15-20 minutes and remove the mask, patting in remaining essence for maximum absorption. The mask takes about an hour to dry out completely.

After using, the mask is pretty comfortable to wear and has a cooling feeling. The metallic scent dissipates pretty quickly as well. I found that after wearing it, it didn't seem to really tone my skin, I noticed a small bit of firming but not any kind of lifting effect. However, I did feel that this mask did a decent job of hydrating my skin. Though, to be honest, this probably works better if you're using this mask over and over again. Also I unfortunately had a little bit of an allergic reaction this mask and I can't be sure if it was from the colloidal platinum or not. It wasn't horrible, but it was noticeable. I'd really recommend this to people who are looking for a cool anti-aging mask, but also I think if you have sensitive skin, use this at your own discretion.

What I like: the cooling feeling on the skin is very nice and the mask is pretty hydrating and it did firm my skin slightly. The ingredients are nice enough and this mask was comfortable to wear. What I don't like: the metallic scent wasn't super pleasant for me and I did react to an ingredient in this mask (again this is my own problem lol but if you have skin allergies or are just more prone to any kind of allergy this might be something to consider). This mask is not really ideal for sensitive skin either.
