You can become taller (longer) by imagining your spine being gently pulled from both ends, like a string, every time you breathe. The spine isn’t a rigid, weight bearing column, it’s suspended within the body by fascia, muscles, ligaments, and fluid pressure. When equal tension is applied from above and below, the curves organise, compression reduces, and space is created between each segment. With each inhale, imagine the string being lightly drawn longer, and with each exhale, allow the body to soften without losing that length. Nothing is forced, just like the string in the hands, the aim isn’t to pull harder but to create balanced tension, allowing posture to improve and the body to support itself from the inside out.
