Happy Birthday, Ganesh: Obey Me OC
The halls were alive and many people came to offer prayers to the God of New Beginnings, Success and Wisdom, and Remover of Obstacles.
Hues of red, yellow and orange decorated the streets and every house and Shrine in the vicinity.
Burnished gold eyes swept over the large crowds, "Mom. Dad. Do I have to? Those girls keep flirting with me... it's creepy!"
Esshra huffed, "Oh shut up big brother. At least Kartik and I won't have to keep you in line!"
Parvati laughed. "Your sister has a point, dear."
Shiva sighed, his only daughter was just as chaotic as Kali sometimes. "Esshra, when are your friends coming?"
Just then the doorbell rang. "Probably them. Apart from Lucifer, Levi and Satan, the others are 10 times more chaotic than I am, dad..." she playfully stuck her tongue out at him.
He pulled a face. "How the heck did she know I called her chaotic?"

The seven avatars stepped in, along with Damion. Sure, things were tense between himself and Shiva but at least this was a formality for him to show that demons can work with others.
Esshra was hugging the seven and stopped short, unsure of how to greet him.... after all, the bond of father-in-law and daughter-in-law was no longer valid.
"Um...."
Damion cupped her cheek, "It's all right. You're a strong young lady.... you deserve better than my worthless son..."
"Please don't call him that. Mistakes were made, all we can do is learn from them," she smiled and nodded.
Damion often wondered where she found such strength and wisdom, considering she'd been raised by humans.

Deus stepped in to the house as well, greeted by Esshra.
She'd offered the guests a variety of sweets, savories and refreshments, with Beelzebub asking for more Lassi.
Michael decided to ask her where Mammon was, but was denied an answer.
"He's chaotic as it is, and I can tell you're the worse one...."
Lucifer just smirked, this mini goddess just roasted him.
*************************************************
Asmodeus was taking videos of literally everything and everyone, from Esshra greeting everyone at the doors, to having them seated with her family, to her offering sweets and refreshments.... the works....and posted them onto Devilgram.
Simeon, Luke and Solomon were also invited, and Luke was asking Durga about some sweets, while Kartik was blocking the entrance to the kitchen from Solomon.
His cold, hard glare was enough for the sorcerer to back down.
*************************************************
Damion had his eyes on Esshra the entire time he was at the function. Shiva cleared his throat. "Damion. What are you thinking?"
"Nothing. I simply wish I had a daughter rather than a son," he sighed. "But fate has it's own ideas, right?"
"You spoke to her for two seconds and already sound like her," Shiva sat across him. "I saw the whole thing."
"Well....I could be wrong but...it seems Ganesh has rubbed off on her...."
"More like Kartik and Kali have," Shiva snorted.
"Nah. You're destructive....I'm surprised she's so calm..."
"Mm. So...hopefully things will settle down soon..." Shiva had his gaze trained on Lucifer's demeanor.
He knew that first-born was smitten.
*************************************************
Deus had noticed Lucifer being so calm around the young woman, his pride buried somewhere else.
"Lucifer. I see you've...." blue-gray eyes flickered over towards her, then back to his former child.
Lucifer let out a low growl, "Leave me alone. You couldn't bear to see my sister happy. You had the seven of us thrown out, and even cursed us..."
"Gentlemen...." Her voice, though soft, was firm. "Please stop arguing...." turning to Deus, she looked at him dead in the eyes, "....Please stop torturing these boys. They've been kind to me for the longest time....I'm indebted to them..."
Deus smiled, "I know, dear. I've always known."

Meanwhile, Diavolo was left watching his Devilgram.
Everyone looked relaxed....but one person caught his eye. Esshra.
Simply dressed in a champagne gold lehenga with blood red borders, she was every bit of a goddess she was born as, if not, even more beautiful and graceful.
Regret filled his entire being, yet when he saw her smiling at his right hand man, envy flooded him....but she seemed happy.....
*************************************************
Several chants were heard through the vicinity of the area, and people bowed their heads in respect as they awaited his arrival.
An elephant's trumpet resounded through the air, Ganesh in front of it.
A silent nod to whoever came up to him, a few words of wisdom to whoever asked of him.
Looking at his family, he nodded, placing a hand over his sister's head. "A new beginning for you, and I pray you will not face any more obstacles. You have tied the rakhee on my wrist, and this is what I give to you in return."
*************************************************
Esshra hugged him, "No. This isn't for me. It should go those who aren't as privileged as I am..."
Kartik, casually holding Solomon up by the scruff of his neck, ruffled her hair. "Relax, sis, you've suffered enough."
Shiva, Deus and Damion all shared a certain look between themselves, and towards Durga, Parvati and Kali.
"Since my daughter is of age..." cue Asmodeus dramatically wiping a non-existent tear, "...Kali, Parvati and Durga will have to test the young men to see who is the best fit for her."
".....DAD. NO...."
"They'll have to household chores for a week, which includes cooking," Parvati smiled, yet Satan felt ice going down his spine.
She sighed, feeling bad for the seven. At least this was a bit more amusing for her mothers.
