@ my braces people: did you notice a significant difference if you stopped wearing your retainer?
i wore mine religiously for 2+ years then kind of stopped, now i’m making an effort to wear it periodically again (i’ve worn it 4 hours a day the past 3 nights and tonight am wearing it all night -_-) i believe the most important time to wear it is the first year, and that there’s no evidence that people wearing it full time do any better than people who just wear it part time
mostly tho i’m just asking bc i haven’t worn it in six months & it still fits, really tight & painful but it goes on and stuff so there can’t have been much movement
