🥕 | Jax will continue to use HE/HIM pronouns ONLY, and despises any implications or suggestions that he is anything but masculine.
🥕 | This portrayal of Jax is canon-compliant up until episode 9, as obviously, he hasn’t abstracted (yet). His backstory diverges from the show as well, and will have a heavy focus on psychological abuse, physical abuse, degradation, and dark, mature themes that will be explored as his character development continues.
That isn’t to say I will never plot anything, or write about the last episode, as I’m very willing to delve into the circus’s collapse, Caine’s loss of power, and what it means for them, and them discovering the truth about being brain scans. If you’re interested in writing about those topics, please let me know, and we can discuss! They are just not going to be a central part of my Jax story as I continue to write him. I have nothing against the ending or transfemme Jax; I am just personally much more comfortable writing him as he was portrayed in the show, as male.
🥕 | I am a shipping whore, and am ALWAYS up to discussing a ship! Just please be aware that this is JAX we’re talking about. He is an emotionally closed-off, repressed wreck, who purposefully sabotages any chance at happiness he may have because he believes he doesn’t deserve it and pushes people away because it’s easier. Shipping with him will NOT be a walk in the park, and will take a lot of build-up and work— but I am HERE FOR IT, and chances are if you’re interested and you shoot me a message, I will happily SCREAM with you about it until we make it happen!
