While a necromancer's retinue offers many advantages, it also comes with significant drawbacks.
Each member can be a potential weakness, risking both the physical and mental well-being of the necromancer. Some of them have personal enemies whose grudges transcend the mortal realm. Revealing the nature of the necromancer's magic and his hidden lair could attract angry mobs wielding pitchforks and torches, as well as dark arts rivals eager to sell the necromancer's heart on the black market.
How fortunate that Veresk's heart is in safe hands.
