MARCO - "Esteban, I found something yesterday, while you were showering. There was a ring box lying on the dresser."

ESTEBAN - "Well, now that you saw it, I suppose I should just take it back."

MARCO - "NO! I mean were you... ?"

ESTEBAN - "Ask you to marry me?"

MARCO - "You know I will."

ESTEBAN - "Okay then, let's go downtown, go the Clerk's office get the license and get married right now!"

MARCO - "Seriously?"

MARCO - "Yes, Of course I am being serious."

Marco and Esteban were excited as they told the kids what they had done that morning. Rosa seemed unphased. Milo congratulated them but Rafe didn't seem very happy about it at all.

RAFE - "YOU DID WHAT!?"

With Joy also comes sadness in our Sims lives, Esteban's mother and Milo's grandmother, Jimena passed from old age. A long life well lived and loved.

They went to the clerk of courts, and were married in his office, then went out and had their own private ceremony. Now they are officially a married couple.

Now to go home and tell the kids.

ESTEBAN - "We understand it is a difficult transition for all of us with this move, especially the three of you. But you cannot continue to pick at one another. And certainly not run to your grandmother's asking them to intervene into situations. You need to come to us, Both Marco and myself. We are all a team."

MARCO - "Then letting these things spill over into our school lives and work and including others into your arguments is unacceptable.

ROSA - Ms. Finnigan came to me dad, I didn't go to her..."

MARCO - "I understand that, Rosalie, but it should have never gotten to that point, right boys? And do not snicker, Miss, you started this a few days before by trying to start something by going to your grandmothers. Don't you realize we all talk to one another??"

ESTEBAN - "Infighting, arguing and trying to get at one another through school friends is not the way to take care of these issues. The three of you need to come to a realization that we are ALL a family. If we have to have this talk again, it's not going to be as pleasant, Groundings will be implemented."

The kids got up and went to their rooms.

MARCO - "So do you think we got through to them?"

ESTEBAN - "I certainly hope so. I do not want to punish them. They need to learn to get along."

JIMENA - "Milo Esteban! Listen very carefully. I know that change can be upsetting, but many times in our lives it is not always about you. It's about family. It's about being happy and living life to the fullest. Sharing a room is a very small price to pay to see you father happy. You can make this sacrifice for him, as can I. He has made many for us. And about this little Rosa, you just need to shower her with kindness. She'll come around in time."

Milo had nothing more to argue about and got out of his chair and went to give his dad a huge hug.

MILO - "Dad, you do what you feel is right. It always works out for the best for all of us. And Gigi, Rosa isn't like most people. Just so you know."

Not only did Esteban become an impressive detective at the police force, he and Marco soon became "parental" detectives. It was soon time for them to meet the culprits face on! They called the kids in for a "special" family meeting.

Esteban worked tirelessly as a Tartosa detective. Coming from San Myshuno Police Department crime was petty burglaries as opposed of the major crimes in the big city. But he soon gained an impressive reputation throughout police department and received the Position as the Sergeant and was over all the detectives.
