Lets see if I can finish it right now I guess? It isn't perfect mind you, but it is what I got and I figure it is good enough to put down here for the fun of it. Story stuff about Est's adventure under here, technically spoilers, also unfinished development wise but what I have as a whole.
So the first act takes place with Est looking for a place to live, and having found it, he'd end up talking with a few near by people and it would be brought up that he didn't have a home prior. Eventually he gets involved with a place/job that would send him on trips, like a plane/boat/train/mail so he'd be able to travel, being unable to travel on his own he is fairly happy, gets to bond with some of the crew involved. This eventually results in him finding something which draws attention of many many many people, and in turn two groups appear both fighting over the same objective. This forces him to take the item and leave, but one of the two groups catches him and he learns the events of the situation. He ends up reluctantly helping the group that caught him at first but slowly begins to become friends with one of them, while back on his job he begins to do the same there. Eventually multiple people get involved and Est grows close to the one in relation to his job over time. Clashing with the other group from the start it turns out that... they wanted to release something tied to Est's past, foreshadowed up to this point. After some conflicts revealing more of each character's past they confront the monster that was released and in Est's plan they attempt to unsummon it... but this results in something far different happening. The party ends up back around the time the Monster was sealed and they learn about that, when they are sent back to the correct time line when found by the Monster. During this point generally everyone gets a last bit of plot, to round out their character as they work to set up a trap. Est slowly realizes that his power was in part due to the monster and figures out how to use this as a trap. This results in them fighting the monster, but it takes the last of its power back from Est, leaving Est unable to do anything due to the circumstance of Est's abilities and everyone is hopelessly fighting. In the end the companions on the journey yell at Est, more like the "Don't stand there do something!" kind because otherwise everyone is done for. The realization he can't do anything along sinks in, this causes him to put 2 and 2 together realizing that if everyone can combine what little power they have Est might be able to reach it. Which does work... albeit it puts Est in the same problem as prior. Over the course of all of this I want to establish key points. Est is sick and it is because of the Monster leeching off of him. Est lost his home because of the Monster's power. It is the others that allow Est to push himself. That despite everything that happens only for others does Est grow. Most of his character growth I want to come from observing the other character's and their growth, while he is the "MC" in a sense it is like Persona. Where they are supporting everyone else and helping them overcome their problems, but Est is actually a person who directly shows growth from that. Fun fact: Despite most of this story being finished, everyone character besides Est I used for this plot actually belongs to another person or company, that is to say for this story Est and the Monster are the only pure original characters. Yes, I have to manually write every character from the group up to work with this now, aside from Est. This is why for the most part I can't do anything. Fun Fact 2: Despite going by Est and saying his name is Est for the ENTIRE plot Esterum is his full name. Like Raz he follows my 3 letter protag habit. It is easier to write often and quickly... so it tends to happen by accident. Fun Fact 3: While my story involving Raz is more heavily influenced by Wild Arms, like I mentioned here earlier this one is more influenced by Persona or the act of building up relations to progress, though rather then be a side thing it to me is something I want to be the main point. A large portion of the events would actually involve conceptual fights. That is to say how Est views a problem as a monster and how you attack a problem and break it down over time. Dialogue to reflect this would be in the fight and similarly a phase/final phase of the fight would involve making a choice. (A choice which influences the other person's abilities in fights) similarly Est would have allies in the fights that aren't experiencing it because it is a concept, or his perception, that they are working alongside him to have a better life. So in a sense your Level would be representation of bonds, and by expanding bonds you'd increase your level/max level. This carries over into real battles and events. Fun Fact 4: This story had some darker mechanics and the original version had Est able to end up losing his mind, becoming evil, or even taking a bullet for someone else. Fun Fact 5: There is no fun fact 5 yet.
