14. Do you have a crush on anyone?
besides johnny depp and tom hardy, nahhh
76. What’s the sweetest thing you’ve ever done for someone?
that’s a hard one, (and probably a long one >.< )but the first one that popped into mind is when I went to South Africa with my school (yes, it did kinda start off as a privileged-private-school-kids-come-to-”fix/teach”-the-”less fortunate” kind of trip, but by the end, it was the complete opposite). The point of the trip was to meet up with with another school from a township (where I met some friends for life), and the first activity we did when we got there was write down our most personal story and then hand it to a partner. Then the pairs went up one by one, and one partner would read the other’s story, etc. So my story, in retrospect, was pretty lame (about my soccer team), but my partner’s story was about how she had AIDS (which apparently is rampant in township i went to), and not a single one of her friends (even her best friends) knew. So essentially, I was going to have to read her story about her having AIDS to her whole class. So obviously me and my partner were both terrified, and she was scared that people wouldn’t treat her the same if they knew, and at the last minute she was really close to not doing it, but we talked things out, and the next thing I knew, I was standing in front of a class full of people I hardly knew telling them that one of their close friends had AIDS. So I read the story, it was painfully quiet, so I went over and gave my partner a hug and then literally EVERYONE in the class, including teachers, stood up and made a line to hug her and basically everyone was a mess of tears and shit, but yeah. I guess that’s not the sweetest thing I’ve done, but it was for sure the most intense (sorry I’m rambling, I didn’t mean for this to bee so long!)
thanks for the ask, yo ^.^
