HC: Estico + Snow

Headcanon:

Esteban is the worst when it comes to snow, like he visibly shudders when he sees flakes of it falling from the sky, he hates the cold and how it stops traffic and makes it all slippery and wet, but on the other hand, he loves Nico who is a total snow fanatic and wants to build a snowman with Esteban (yes he sings the song from Frozen) and make snow angels with him and Esteban has to put up with it

Of course Sweetie (Sorry it’s a little late) . A dose of Estico coming right up. Enjoy :D

Accidentally falls off the bed in the middle of the night-Nico did. And just carried on sleeping on the floor, dead to the world. Estebanis shocked he is that heavy of a sleeper. But apparently even a fall out of bedwill not stop Nico from sleeping.

Gives the other piggy back rides- Nico gives Esteban piggyback rides. Mostly into swimming pools around the world. But Esteban’s learntnow. If Nico’s trying to give him a piggy back look around for the pool ofwater. If you spot it fight like crazy, or you’re going in.

Tries to act tough but is really a giant sap- Nico. Estebanis a well-known sap. But Nico tries to act cool and tough. However the secondthe two are alone Nico is a total sap with Esteban.

Almost burns down the kitchen trying to bake- Esteban triedto bake Nico a surprise birthday cake this year. And it worked to an extent.  Nico was surprised. Especially when the firealarm went off and smoke bellowed out of the oven. The cake was ruined but itwas the thought that counts. The duo now sticks to bakery brought cakes onbirthdays.

Sings lullabies to their kids- Esteban sings the lullabiesto their children. Nico tends to listen in at the door. He loves watchingEsteban interact with their kids. And he has such a beautiful voice as well.

Morning person vs dead until they get their coffee- Esteban takesa little while to wake up in the morning, but once he’s up he’s up. Nico on theother hand is completely dead till he’s had his morning cup of coffee. Estebanthe sweetheart brings him his first cup of coffee in bed in the morning. Nicoalways thanks him with a kiss.

Cries during sappy movies- Nico does. Esteban finds it sweethe cries at movies. And he always makes sure he has a tissue on hand to dry thetears afterwards.

Wears a billion layers because they get cold easily- Esteban.Simply put Mexico is not as warm as Germany. And he wraps up in layers to staywarm. Nico has his own methods to warm Esteban though. Most of which involve aspine tingling kiss to keep warm.

Initiates cuddling- Nico does. What can you say. Nico loveshugs. And Esteban loves receiving them off of Nico.

Hogs the covers- Nico. Completely. It’s gotten to the pointnow where Esteban keeps a spare blanket on his bedside to use. Because tryingto get those blankets back off of Nico is doomed to fail. He likes to roll upin them.

Would fall over their own feet while trying to seduce theother- Esteban. When he first started trying to seduce Nico he used to gobright red and stutter over everything. And that would just make him more self-concourseand he would begin to shy away. Though it worked. He was doing it one time andgetting worse when out of the blue Nico kissed him. He’d totally fallen for theblushing Esteban.

Estico for the ship thing please?

When or if I started shipping it: I’m not actually thebiggest Estico shipper. But I do think they’re sweet together!

Who wakes the other one up with kisses: Esteban wakes Nicoup with a kiss. He then goes downstairs and makes coffee for the two to drinkin bed. Nico doesn’t really function without a morning kiss and coffee.

Who is the morning person/night person: Nico is the nightowl. He’ll often stay up late reading or watching something. He likes knowingEsteban is asleep before he settles down for the night. But he can be extremelylazy about getting up in the morning as a result. Esteban is the morningperson. Early to bed early to rise and all that.

Who is the romantic one: Nico. He’s actually pretty soppyabout it as well. Putting little notes in Esteban’s lunch, bringing flowers andchocolates home. Things like that. Esteban blushes like crazy when Nico doesit. Which just eggs Nico on. Because there is nothing cuter than a blushingEsteban.

Who is the more cuddly one: Esteban loves cuddles.Especially Nico’s cuddles. They just make him feel so safe.

Who cooks: Depends on the meal. If it’s something like pasta,or a traditional German dish it tends to be Nico who cooks. If it’s rice orsomething more Mexican Esteban cooks. They take it in turns. And whoever doesn’tcook, they do the washing up.

Favourite nonsexual activity: They both enjoy showeringtogether. Especially after a workout. They’ll both stay in the shower till thewater goes cold.

Their favourite place to be together: As long as the otheris there everywhere is awesome. Though it must be said both Nico and Estebanlove spending time on the beach with one another. Be that swimming, chilling out,or going for a walk hand in hand along it. The beach is their favourite placeto be together outside of their bedroom.

Any traditions: Every year on their anniversary the two takea photo together and put it in a joint photo album along with their best memoryof the other that year. That way they have happy memory album for when they’re older.

Their “song”: Foreigner – “I Want To Know What Love Is” Nicoused to belt it out when they were team mates, mostly to make Esteban laugh.Then as their relationship changed he still found it funny to sing. It’s nowtheir song as it brings back the good memories of being together at the startof their relationship.

What they do for each other on holidays: Both of them havedifferent plans for a holiday. Nico loves lounging on a beach, forgetting aboutdiets and training for as long as he can get away with. Esteban however likesswimming, water sports and being active on holiday. It’s a contrast in styles.But both agree the time they spend in bed with each other is the best way tospend their holiday.

Where did they go for their honeymoon: They went to Fijiactually. Neither had ever been there and they fancied going to a country they’dnever been to before. They absolutely love the place.

Where did they first meet: They met in the summer of 2012 asEsteban signed his Sauber contract. Just as he was leaving the building Nicowalked in. At the time he was just consulting with Sauber about possibly beingtheir driver. But he signed the contract very soon after.

Any pets: They have two dogs. They hired a dog sitter wholooks after them when they are away at races. One is a golden Labrador calledCaramel. The other is a German Shepard called Tess. Both are a complete handfulbut Nico and Esteban love them to pieces. It’s wonderful to come home to themafter a race weekend.

What do they fight over: They don’t really fight? Normallyit’s over silly little things like who left wet towels on the floor in thebathroom? Who’s taking the rubbish out? Things like that. It’s rare they fightover anything major.

Do they go on vacations, if so where: Germany and Mexicoobviously. But beyond that it’s wherever they feel like. Somewhere warm wherethe two of them won’t be disturbed, with a nice beach of course.
