i have no one to share my excitement with at the moment so late posting but i finished the lighthouse lego and itâs my favorite thing :)
thereâs so many fun small details, and itâs so cool that it actually lights up and is motorized!!! and i love its name, i never saw that before when i looked at it ugh đ
In this article, 3D printers are useful for creating new structures on-site or manufacturing components off-site for advanced assembly.
3D printing and robotics are two rapidly developing technologies that have the potential to revolutionize the field of civil engineering. 3D printing can be used to create complex structures with intricate details, while robotics can be used to automate tasks that are currently done manually.
The integration of 3D printing and robotics has the potential to improve the efficiency, accuracy, and quality of civil engineering projects. It can also help to reduce costs and improve safety.
Here are some examples of how 3D printing and robotics are being used in civil engineering:
3D printing of concrete structures:Â 3D printing can be used to create concrete structures, such as bridges, buildings, and tunnels. This can help to reduce costs and improve safety, as 3D printing can be used to create structures that are more resistant to earthquakes and other natural disasters.
3D printing of architectural models:Â 3D printing can be used to create architectural models, which can help architects and engineers to visualize their designs and to identify potential problems. This can help to save time and money, as it can prevent the need to build physical models.
Robotic construction:Â Robots can be used to automate tasks that are currently done manually, such as pouring concrete, placing bricks, and welding. This can help to improve efficiency and accuracy, and it can also help to reduce costs and improve safety.

I have a really hard time with spacial awareness and having a concept of measures and stuff. Last night my mom called me out on it, because I tend to put too much food/drink on my plate & cup. I feel silly bc I'm already 20, so this shouldn't be an issue. How can I improve that, how do I know how much food to put on my plate so I don't end up with leftovers to waste? I figured it out w/ drinks but with food it's harder, especially with rice or pasta, since there's no specific quantity
Oh! I know this one! Put an amount that you know is too small. Thereâs nothing wrong with getting seconds, right? So however much you think you will eat, put half that. Thatâs okay! After you eat it, then wait 5 minutes and let it sit. Give your stomach time to send the message to your brain of how hungry you still are. You may surprise yourself and not be hungry anymore at all!
But if you ARE still hungry, then go back for seconds, and do it again- put an amount that youâre sure is too small. Itâs okay, thirds are a thing! There is no rush to get the food, unless there isnât enough to go around, in which case everyone should be getting an even amount then, cause thatâs a different situation.
But if thereâs plenty of food, donât be afraid to just get it later. Make your first plate definitely too small. Then when youâre done eating, you can judge again whether youâre still hungry. This way, you donât have to ever get good at estimating. You can be wrong forever! But youâre wrong on the small side, so food doesnât get wasted, and Mom is happy. Yay!
IF there are people who bully you with things like âIs that all youâre going to eat?â (there are families that are like this and they make me so ANGRY, let me eat less!), just say to them âNope, Iâm gonna have more Iâm just starting with this.â and theyâll usually shut up. Even if they continue, just stand your ground and say âIâm going back for more in a bit.â Donât let them bully you. Itâs your plate and if you want to have small portions on it, youâre allowed.
Iâm Estimate Boy! I estimate thingsâŠ
I hope this info about Valuation really helps for your Civil Work and stay connect with Civilinfowithrk for more info.
To be clear before I go any further
Nothing I post/will post/have posted in the past blah blah blah blah blah concerning employment or views of views of viewsâŠ. this is for me. For Nicole at her core for learning and growing and being equipping myself with toolsâ in my âtoolboxâ to do my job correctly. I want to be passionate, over the top, in love with what I do because itâs the only way to feel like youâre on vacation every day. So for my records and my networking and my quest to be the best I can be each day for my customers, here I amâŠ.
Asking humbly for help.
From anyone. About anything you can give me advice/link/procedures/guidebooks/etc etc etcâŠ. A shout out into the void, probably, but here I am hoping that somewhere someone has the same glimmer of a passion and can help me dive into this.
Background: parents include a body man and a hardcore insanely smart manager mother, grew up in a shop (or bouncing around them rather), even into adulthood stumbling into the estimator path. Iâve been through (mental health wiseâŠ) a lot⊠blah blah blah, got some help, yada yadaâŠ.great cool Iâm on meds now and feel like Iâve missed 10 years of my life to not having a hobby/passion/something to throw myself into for mental exercise. Iâd love to use my career as a basis of learning, hoping it will bring me more joy and success! Iâve been in the shop for 6 years, 2 as a receptionist, 2 at home as a reinspector third party, and 2 as a shop estimator where Iâve thrived the most. Just recently, a light clicked when I got intrigued with a âhow does that work thoughâŠâŠ.?â And somehow I havenât stopped asking questions.
So if anyone has magazine articles, oem procedures/position statements, insurance guidelines (oooooooh, and if youâre a baddie who has loopholes to *help* customers (((and again THIS IS ME PERSONALLY AS A HUMAN NOT AFFILIATED ANYWHERE LOL))), advice for a young gun who wants to go far, someone to bitch to about shop life because being a woman in this industry is harrrrrrrrrrrrrrd, lemme know. I need good friends, I would adore a mentor, and Iâm a pretty inquisitive person to bounce ideas off of.
Nice to meet yâall!
