"I appreciate you coming here, Autumn. I know my office isn't the warmest, most hospitable place, but... it felt the most appropriate. Please, have a seat." Summer pours two cold glasses of water and sets them on the table in the staggered seating area in front of her desk, then sinks into a black wingback leather chair—the only dark piece of furniture in the silver and white room that matches the rest of the decor of the Haven. Meg's chair, no doubt. As always, she sits straight up in her seat, gloved hands folded neatly on her lap, and as always, she is unsmiling... but there is something at ease about her, as their usually is with Autumn. Something like recognizing kin.
"The colors of the Haven have grown on me. I find they have a sense of... Tranquility to them. And you know I appreciate our times together." Mostly. Autumn takes a seat directly across from Summer with a smile, settling her arms on the arm rests while she crosses one leg over the other.
Most appropriate for... What?
Her curiosity is piqued, and she briefly wonders...
"Is something wrong?" She asks, furrowing her brow. Their last interaction together had gone well, as they usually do, and Autumn wonders if something's come up that she could assist with. It wouldn't be the first time they had worked together for a mission. But Summer seems... well, as relaxed as she can seem. And she's seen Summer in..."work" mode.
Autumn leans forwards, taking a sip of water from her glass. After a moment she shakes her head and waves her last question away with one hand, as if she's already answered it.
"It's something else, I take it. You wouldn't have invited me here if there was a mission I could assist with." Would she?
