Might as well get these started again. Ran west until I hit Ogden, followed it to Ashland, and went south until I got to at least 1.50 on my outish-and-backish. Circuitously wound my way back towards Washington and didn’t realize I had hit it so ran a bit eastward on Randolph. Oops?
Had my first podiatrist treatment appointment today. He hit me with an Extracorporeal Pulse Activation Treatment (EPAT, AKA Extracorporeal Shock Wave Therapy (ESWT)) machine. I didn’t believe it would be extraordinarily different from ultrasound, but indeed it was. And in fact I could FEEL the shockwave traversing through my tissues and radiating through my toe bones on the other side of my foot from where he was applying it.
So I can now answer: Does it do anything? with a “Yes!”. I have yet to answer “Will it fix me?”. Time will tell, and I’m totally crossing fingers and toes.
