If the male Searchers were in relationships and were starting a family of their own, who do you think would be brave enough to stay in the room during the birth? Who would faint or bail?

Heya! I’m so sorry for the very late response, but I really appreciate your ask!

Wow, this is definitely an interesting ask! For this one, I’ll look at each Searcher aged up, so everyone is an adult for this hypothetical scenario. Alright, onto the fun! XD

First up, let’s look at our favorite Monster Champ. I think Genki would stay in the delivery room since he’d want to support his partner as much as he could during such a huge event, but I can definitely see him being anxious, maybe even panicky. Genki hates being on the sidelines and prefers facing challenges head on, so I think he’d feel pretty helpless in a situation like this one where all he can do is be there for support. I think that, no matter what, he’d stay at his partner’s side throughout the entire delivery.

For Mocchi, I think he’d be similar to Genki. I think he’d be so worried for his partner and the feeling of helplessness would be really frustrating for him. I think that there would be times he may leave the room to get snacks and other things for his partner, but it would also be a chance for him to get some air so he could return to his partner’s side in the best headspace possible. He would ensure to be with his partner even if he was out of his element.

I think Suezo would stay in the room, but due to a combination of grotesque visuals and his nerves, he’d potentially get sick. He’s the only Searcher to get seasick on Horn’s ship so his stomach is already a little sensitive. Suezo isn’t good at masking his emotions so he would certainly make a bit of a scene, but he’d still be at his partner’s side throughout the entire delivery. I think he’d crack jokes to try masking his nerves but once he hit his limit, he’d be a hot mess of concern. He’d do his best to put on a brave front for as long as possible, though!

I think Golem would be one of the most calm Searchers, but his issue would be completely different than the others. Golem is naturally a levelheaded monster who remains calm even in high stress situations, making him ideal for a situation like this. Not only that, because he’s made of rock, his partner can’t accidentally crush his hand during the delivery. Golem would absolutely stay near his partner and would be there for any of their needs while being incredibly supportive. The issue Golem would run into is, because of his size, he’d most likely not fit in a normal hospital so he might not be able to be literally at his partner’s side, which would definitely make him sad. Hopefully if they know the estimated delivery date ahead of time, Golem and his partner could find a large hospital that specializes with large monsters so he could be in the room. Golem would be as supportive as possible and would be the perfect monster to support his partner.

I think Tiger would struggle with the delivery process, but he would stay at his partner’s side regardless. Tiger is easily stressed out, so this situation would definitely be one of the most stressful situations he’d ever face. He’d probably be the stereotypical father-to-be who paces the room anxiously and gets easily agitated with everyone (besides his partner). Knowing his partner is in pain and he can’t do anything to help would absolutely drive Tiger mad, but he’d put on a brave front so he would avoid worrying his partner. Not the most pleasant thought, but during the delivery process there are a lot of potent smells, such as blood, that would also be difficult to stomach for a monster with an exceptionally keen sense of smell like Tiger. This would only make the situation even more unpleasant for Tiger, but he wouldn’t leave his partner’s side.

I think Hare would actually be really well suited for this situation and he’d stay in the delivery room throughout the entire delivery. Hare is gentle with those he cares about, so he’d definitely go all out to make his partner comfortable and to help in any way he could. He’s levelheaded and reasonable, so even if internally he was anxious, he would do his best to hide it and put on a smile so his partner wouldn’t worry. He’d be the type of guy to hold his partner’s hand and stroke their hair while talking gently to them to help keep the mood calm. I think, like Golem, his demeanor would translate well to a situation like childbirth, where it’s a high stress situation, but he would remain as calm as he could.

It could just be me, but I think all the Searchers would remain in the delivery room since they’re all so loyal to the ones they care about. I think overall, Golem and Hare would be the most calm while Suezo would struggle the most. Exploring the lives of the Searchers as adults is always a lot of fun! Thank you for the ask! ^_^

How is a random post about one specific semi-obscure monster the thing that's pulling the monster rancher fans out of the woodwork, to the tune of like 100+ notes, when I spent months crawling thru the full roster of monsters breed by breed and retranslating names to like single digits??? If Dan and Stan (the DanStan scam-artist duo from CatDog) cross paths with a terrifying lineup of Joker-breed monsters from Monster Rancher 2, their phony con-man routine would instantly disintegrate into sheer panic. 

The Encounter and Immediate Aftermath

Shattered Deception: Dan and Stan rely on cheap costumes, fake bravado, and sweet-talking marks into parting with their cash or gold trophies. Encountering actual nightmare entities like Bloodshed (the most aggressive Joker) or a death-scythe-wielding Joker means their disguises won't fool anyone for a second. 

A Terrifying Awakening for CatDog: If they were still trying to pull their "fake conjoined twin" act near the Burnt Altar, the menacing magic spells of Odium or the lethal precision of Blue Terror would treat Dan and Stan not as fellow con artists, but as a quick snack. 

Fleeing in Disgrace: Realizing no amount of slick salesman patter works on creatures of pure darkness and ancient legend, the duo would drop the charade, shed their matching leather coats or faux-fur costumes, and sprint away screaming at top speed.

If these powerful Monster Rancher Joker variants hunted Dan and Stan from CatDog, the chaotic duo would face absolute doom, turning a surreal cartoon house into a terrifying, grim battlefield.

The Attack

Overwhelming Force: The Joker breeds from Monster Rancher 2 are ferocious, legendary, and lethal fighters.

Total Chaos: Bloodshed (the most aggressive) and Blue Terror (the swift killer) would tear through the suburban neighborhood of Nearburg instantly.

Weird vs. Evil: Dan and Stan's usual bickering and odd schemes would provide zero defense against scythe-wielding, dark mythical beasts.
