ETA TASK -- JAYSE NICKEL -- CHARACTER TROPES
T A S K 1
Quinn Vega - Character Tropes
i. femme fatale: a beautiful, but mischievous and traitorous woman. ii. shapeshifter: the shapeshifter's mask misleads the Hero by hiding a character's intentions and loyalties. iii. tragic anti-hero: an anti-hero who (merely accidentally than intentionally) destroys his own happiness, and therefore often turns back to fighting the evil. iv. took a level in bad-ass: a character in particular is making a very good showing, doing at least as much as the main character to save the day, this person, he was a nebbishy wisecracker with the constitution of a glass-jawed squirrel. What happened to transform him so completely? Simple: last time he leveled up, he took a level in badass. v. combat pragmatist: a character who is defined by his or her willingness to do anything in a fight to win. vi. the soldier: strong, willful, and looking for a fight, whether it be for profit, or to avenge the death of a loved one. One type of soldier encompasses those who seek to do justice in an evil and dark world: The rugged heroes who are strong in arm and wit, but have some fatal character flaw (dealing with the death of a loved one, pride or vanity, a weakness for damsels in distress...) that will be the end of them if they don't figure out how to solve it. vii. battle-axe: domineering, brash and brazen woman
