“So---might have left out a detail or two about me.”
He paused as the toddle held onto his leg, like he was trying to hide, but at the same time wanting to know what was going on. Barry’s grinning, happy to see her of course, how could he not be? But he also had this sheepish look, considering his son was suppose to be at daycare, and well--- not with him. Unfortunately, things wouldn’t always go according to plan; he’s gotten use to that.
Barry cleared his throat, “In my defense, he found out about this mostly on his own. Apparently, I can be a really crappy liar sometimes.”
