Even though you were an eternal things got boring sometimes, I mean we lived for millions of years and just waited for things like Deviants to even have anything to do. And there was downtime every once in a while and everyone used it to their advantage to rest, except Thena of course. Today everyone was doing their own thing and you had hit a brick wall that was boredom, so logically you decided to bug Phastos for the fun of it. His mind was constantly working making inventions beyond the time we were in, he had to have something fun that could help you enjoy your time and keep you out of trouble. ‘’Is it done yet?’’ You ask him.
The glare on his face said it all as he looked over at you, ‘’You wanna build it?’’ He ask you the sarcasm dripping from his voice. ‘’That’s what I thought,’’ He says to you shaking his head and you just give him a grin, ‘’Working on my off day,’’ He mutters. You knew he wasn’t actually annoyed, after thousands of years together Phastos had learned your mind was always moving and he tried to help keep you entertained when he could and although he would never admit it he enjoyed the challenge. ‘’Where’s lover boy?’’ He asks you.
‘’I do not know what you are referring to,’’ You say to him.
‘’Yeah you don’t know what I’m talking about at all,’’ He says exaggeratedly.
‘’Not a clue,’’ You say, leaning back crossing your arms over your chest. Of course you did know but you weren’t gonna admit anything. Druig and you had some sort of friendship or relationship going on but you didn’t know exactly what to call it. You acted like a couple but you weren’t one, and honestly you were too afraid to ask him what you were. It has been thousands of years in the making with him, you had always felt a connection with Druig and he agreed he felt the same thing with you but it seemed like both of you were to cowardice enough to make things official. So whatever this was is fine for the time being, maybe one day things would change and he’d want more but getting him to express it was the problem. Everyone else could tell you were all in, you were always drawing pictures of Druig in your sketchbook, giving him flowers you had grown from the wave of a hand, always looking for him after a fight with a deviant needing to see that he was safe even though you knew he could handle himself.
‘’Alright it’s done,’’ Phastos says, interrupting you from your thoughts. You jumped up from where you were sitting running over to him eagerly as he held whatever he had invented behind his back. ‘’You can use this to take photos of things and once you take the photo it will print it out right here,’’ He says pulling it out from behind his back and in front of you was what would be known in the future as a polaroid camera. ‘’So aim look through this lens here,’’ He says pointing at the small little box near the top of the camera, ‘’You can see what your gonna take a picture of and then hit this button to capture it.’’ He explains to you, ‘’If it’s dark this little part right here will pop up and it lights up like a flash so you can take pictures in darker places.’’ He tells you.
‘’Oh wow Phastos,’’ You say to him, taking the camera from his hands, ‘’This is amazing,’’ You say, admiring it. ‘’Thank you so much!’’ You tell him practically knocking him over, embracing him in a hug, ‘’This is perfect,’’ You tell him gratefully.
‘’Yeah so now you can’t say I never did anything for ya,’’ He says.
‘’Okay pose,’’ you tell him, bringing the camera up to your eye, closing one to see through the small lens. ‘’I have to test it out, may as well make the first picture taken with it the inventor,’’ He groans but stands still for the picture anyway giving you a soft smile and you click the button at the top and you hear a noise from the camera, ‘’Is that it?’’ You ask him. You pull the camera away from your face and watch the picture print out from the bottom, ‘’Where is your face at?’’ You ask him not noticing anything on photo.
‘’It has to develop, give it time,’’ He tells you as you take the picture out of the camera. Phastos comes over taking the photo out of your hand, ‘’This strip right here has chemicals in it, when the photo rolls out of the camera it squeezes those chemicals across the area where the photo is going to show up and once then the chemicals set in and your photo appears.’’ He tells you referring to the large white strip toward the bottom of the camera.
‘’Woah,’’ You say, leaning closer into the picture, noticing Phastos face start to appear. He hands the photo back to you. He also hands you a couple packs to take with you so it’ll last you a few weeks, but you feel like it’ll be more like days you wanted to take pictures of everything.
‘’Alright I have other stuff I have to do, go have fun with that,’’ He tells you. You thank him once again before heading out down the halls of the Domo watching the picture get brighter and more colorful.
As you continued down the hall you saw Kingo walk out of his room, ‘’Kingo!’’ You yell at him and he jumps slightly at the booming sound of your voice echoing in the hallway. ‘’Can I take your picture?’’ You ask him and hold up your camera. ‘’Phastos made it for me,’’ You tell him.
‘’I’ll never turn down a fan,’’ He says, his hands reaching up to fix the sides of his hair so they are smooth, he turns to face you with a smirk on his face and you pull the camera up to your face, smiling at the attitude he gives. The picture prints out and he comes over wanting to look at it as well, ‘’Well that’s a waste,’’ He says, noticing the same blank photo you had moments ago.
‘’You have to wait and then it will show up,’’ You tell him, you hand him the photo of Phastos, ‘’it took a few minutes but it’ll end up looking like this.’’ You tell him.
‘’Let me know when it’s finished I will sign it for you,’’ He says, handing the photo back to you. You roll your eyes playfully and hold the photo in your hand watching it as he leaves to head back down the hall.
You stared down at the two photos, this was no doubt the best thing Phastos had made you and you were going to get the best use out of it. ‘’Thena!’’ You yell out seeing her down the hall.
____
Hours later you were in your room and you had all your photos set out on the bed. There were pictures of Thena, Kingo, Makkari, Ikaris, Sersi, Sprite, and even Gilgamesh laid out in front of you. You had also taken pictures of your green room and all the flowers in there that you had been growing, you probably had taken about fifty pictures today and you only had one more pack left. Phastos was going to kill you when he found out you went through all of them in less than about 3 hours. The only person you hadn’t gotten a picture of was Druig, you hadn’t seen him all day which wasn’t odd for him some days he stuck to himself more.
An hour later you had almost finished hanging up all the pictures, they had been put on the wall in the order you had taken them, Kingo even stopped by and actually did sign the one you took of him which made it all the better. You had started from the bottom and made your way up for the photos so the last ones you were having trouble reaching, you stood on top of your bed trying to stand on the tip of your toes to put them up. ‘’What are you doing?’’ You hear Druigs voice call out.
You jumped at the sound turning around seeing him standing in the doorway of your room, ‘’Where have you been all day?’’ You ask him, smiling, finally happy to see him. He walks over to your bed sitting on the edge of it, you give up on hanging up the photo in your hand and walk across the bed to the edge where Druig was and plop down next to him, ‘’I missed you today,’’ You tell him.
‘’I had some things I was finishing up,’’ He tells you his hand reaching up to caress your cheek, and his hand slowly moves back to push your hair out of your face. You reach up with your hand grabbing his forearm giving it a squeeze, ‘’What’s all that?’’ He asks you.
You smiled at him eagerly, you had been wanting to show him all day. You ran over to your table grabbing the camera, ‘’Phastos made me a camera so I could take pictures!’’ You tell him, he didn’t even seem to be staring at the camera, just you smiling. You stand up positioning the camera in front of your eye, ‘’Smile please,’’ You tell him. He doesn’t even budge, ‘’Druig,’’ You say sternly, taking the camera down to glare at him. ‘’Act like you like me please,’’ You tell him, teasing him.
The faintest smile made its way across his face and you quickly put the camera back up, snapping the picture of him and it began to print out. You grab a hold of it and walk back over sitting next to him showing him, ‘’It’s so cool,’’ You say explaining to him how it worked. ‘’I took pictures all day,’’ He laughs at that, glancing back down at the picture, ‘’This one is special so I have to keep it in a special place,’’ You tell him. You walk over to the dresser you had in the room and pull out the small wooden little box you kept and slide the picture in it.
Druig looked at you suspiciously, ‘’What’s in there?’’ He asks standing up walking over toward you, your shrug in response. You hold the camera in one hand and Druig quickly but swiftly grabs the camera holding it out of your reach, you leap over him trying to grab it but he just holds it higher and further out of reach. ‘’My beautiful, beautiful Y/N,’’ He says and you couldn’t fight back the smile on your face, roll your eyes at him and look back at him and his amused look. ‘’Smile for me,’’ He says, holding up the camera to his face aiming it at you.
‘’I don’t want my picture taken!’’ You yell at him covering your face with your hands. ‘’I just want to take pictures!’’ You explain.
‘’But you're so beautiful, you deserve to have your picture taken,’’ He tells you, taking the camera away from his face, ‘’Act like you like me,’’ He taunts you with the same line, you roll your eyes and he smiles satisfied. He pulls the camera back up aiming it toward you and you smile for him allowing him to take your photo. He takes the photo and quickly pulls it out of the camera, hiding it from you.
‘’Let me see,’’ You say, walking toward him.
He finally hands your camera back to you and takes the photo hiding it behind his back with a cheeky grin on his face, ‘’I am keeping this one,’’ He tells you as you walk closer to him, his hand slipping behind your back pulling you close. ‘’I missed you too by the way,’’ He says and you slide your hands over his shoulders resting your forehead against his and you both seem to breathe a sigh of relief. You pull your head away from his and stare into his blue eyes, you lean forward and place an innocent kiss against his lips. He raises his hand to your face kissing you deeper before he pulls away, ‘’Stay with me tonight?’’ He asks you and you nod your head eagerly before kissing him once again.
‘’Get a room,’’ You hear a voice from the hallway and you quickly back away from Druig running to the door of your room seeing Sprite walking down the hallway.
‘’This is my room!’’ You yell at her before shutting the door.

The people of Babylon threw a celebration as a thank you for saving them. Everyone was gathered around and Sprite was doing her illusions. You were standing there on the side, leaning towards a pillar. You heard footsteps coming from behind you.
"You did good out there." The voice said.
You turned your head and saw Druig. "Out where?" You asked him.
"You took out a lot of deviants out there." He praised you.
You slowly felt your cheeks get warm, looked away to hide your face. "Thanks" you said shyly.
He stood beside you and nudged your side playfully, earning a giggle out of you. These moments with Druig were simple, but you cherished these a lot. You guys continued watching the show together.
"I'm gonna go get a drink, you want one?" He offered.
"Sure." "Ok, I'll be right back." And with that, he left. You felt someone tap your shoulders, it was Makkari.
"Hey Makkari." You signed to her.
"Hey, so I went out to find stuff to trade and I saw this." She signed back while holding up a beautiful necklace. She gave it to you and signed "Keep it." She smiled and left.
Druig then came back with the drinks and handed it to you. "What was that about?" He asked.
"Oh, she just gave me a necklace she found." You said showing him the necklace. He hummed in reponse, nodding his head.
"So, you got someone in your mind?" He asked you.
"Yeah, but I don't think they like me back." You said facing the ground.
"Don't worry, I like you back." He said. You stood there confused. "What?" You asked him. Part of you wished it was true. What he said.
"Kidding." He said with an awkward smile on his face. Disappointment washed over you, but you brushed it off. Thinking that he would never like you in the first place.
----------------------------------------
Flash forward, everyone was sleeping. Except you. You couldn't forget what had happened earlier. The disappointment you felt, it hurt you. You decided to go out to the garden, to get fresh air. You touched to flowers with your finger tips, sighing. You felt relaxed.
You heard footsteps from behind. You took out your sword and turned around. You saw, Druig? What was he doing out here in the middle of the night, you thought. He quickly put his hands up, seeing that your sword was out. You put your sword down and he also put his hands down.
"Oh, Druig. What are you doing here?" You asked him.
You guys were only a few feet away from each other. "I couldn't sleep." "Same."
A moment of silence, then he talked. "Hey, remember what I said back there? Where I told you I liked you too?" He asked, bringing up the memory.
"Y-yeah, what about it?" You said.
"Well, it was true. I've had my eye on you since the day we met. I like everything about you, your face, your personality, you skills, everything." He confessed. Instead of responding, you took a step forward, closing the gap between you two. You kissed him. His lips were dry but soft. He was surprised but kissed back almost instantly. You out your arms around his neck. He put his arms on your waist.
You pulled out, catching your breath. "I love you too Druig." You smiled at him.
"So, you're mine?" He asked.
"I'm yours." You chuckled.
"Are we gonna tell the others about us?" He questioned.
"No, but we won't keep it a secret either." You replied.
"So, you're my not so secret lover?" He asked.
"Something like that." You said.
He sighed, pulling you into a warm embrace. You hugged him back. This is it, you thought. You finally had what you wanted. You finally have Druig.

"Thena... wait," Sersi whispered, as you stood still, holding your breath. Your body tensed, bracing for whatever impact would come as a result of your feet being planted firmly on the desert ground. Visions from before began to flash in your mind, as Druig's screams filled your head once more.
It was a scene you had relived thousands of times, most often in your dreams, waking you up in a puddle of your own sweat. But this time was different. This time it was real, or very close to becoming real.
Thena's eyes narrowed as she looked at you, gripping her sword tightly as she waited for you to respond. When you couldn't bring yourself to say anything, she flinched, as if she was about to attack. Not again, you thought to yourself, as you brought your hands up as a defense, waiting for the blow.
Only... it never came.
Slowly, you opened your eyes to see Gilgamesh's hand placed firmly on Thena's shoulder, as he whispered sweet nothings in her ear. Her eyes were closed, as she let his words ground her back to reality. She inhaled, exhaled, and there was an instant shift in the air. It was no longer thick with tension, waiting to be cut. Instead, it was calm, peaceful, but in a hauntingly familiar way, like the calm after a destructive storm; full of hope, yet full of damage.
Thena may not have pierced you with her sword, but reliving the emotional trauma was enough to leave your soul bleeding.
When her eyes opened, they were instantly glazing over your body, looking for any marks. She instantly teared up as her eyes met yours, full of fear.
"Y/N..." she whispered. Unsure of how to respond, you just stood there, staring blankly at her. What was there to say to the woman who killed you? What words could be strewn together to mend the wounds that lasted centuries?
"I'm so sorry."
Those were the words. The words you waited to hear for centuries were finally said. You felt a sudden peace flood your body, relieved as if a weight had finally been lifted off of your shoulders. It couldn't be that easy though... could it? Tears formed in your eyes as your brain began to argue with itself over what to do.
Hesitantly, Thena stepped forward. You flinched as she reached her arms out slightly, causing her to stop abruptly in her tracks, a remorseful look on her face.
"No," you whispered. She nodded, returning to Gilgamesh's side obediently. The very idea of embracing your murderer sent shivers down your spine, causing you to look out into the vast desert. It was times like these you longed for Druig's embrace.
After a few more minutes, everyone headed back to the hut, where Gilgamesh promised food and the special ale he made. You hung back, nervous to be in such a small space with everyone. In fact, you needed quite the opposite. You needed the desert and its vast openness to think.
What were you even doing here? Thor was still out there, probably lost, and in need of your help. Yet here you were, teaming up with the ones who once betrayed you, acting as if a great injustice didn't happen. As if time healed everything.
Well, this time, it didn't.
Centuries still hadn't healed the gaping wound Thena left in your soul. The gaping hole not even Loki could fill, the man you knew loved you deeply. You tried not to let your mind wander down that road. Something changed in Loki, something sinister, but you didn't have the time to figure that out just yet.
Earth was in need of your help, to stop the return of the Deviants so that life on Earth could be preserved.
But that meant continuing to team up with the Eternals band, something you weren't sure if you were ready to continue. What if they hurt you again? What if next time, Gilgamesh can't ground Thena, and she kills you once more?
The thoughts were met with a deep chuckle echoing in your mind. Heimdall.
You're stronger than her, you know. She's weakening with the weight of her memories. If she attacked, you would be able to take her... and succeed.
You looked up to the heavens, holding your hand up to block the blinding sun.
"Yeah?" You said aloud, contemplating the validity of voice in your head. "I don't know if I'm mentally ready for it to come to that though."
They're your key to finding Druig.
That caught your attention.
What? You thought to yourself, confused as to why Heimdall was just now saying this. But just as ominously as he began talking to you, his voice disappeared entirely from your mind.
Fucker, you thought loudly, knowing he heard it. There was a faint chuckle in the breeze, which only pissed you off. Picking up a rock, you threw it against the tree-shrine Thena had made. It bounced off of a shiny piece of glass hanging from one of the branches. As it began to sway, it caught the sun's rays, catching your attention.
You stood, walking over to it and stilled it with your hand. There was a small painting on it of a woman, lightening surrounding her as she levitated against a dark sky. The lightening snaked around her legs and arms, coming together to cover her breast and waist. She had bright hair that glowed as if that was made of lightening too. Under the picture in old script read one word that sent chills down your spine.
Fulgora.
This was who Thena thought you were, this woman made of lightening. You thought back to your very first day on Earth, where you summoned a lightening storm to show Ajak your powers. That must have triggered her thought process... you thought, looking back to the hut, where the other Eternals began to step out.
You quickly pulled the image off of the tree, tucking it into your pocket, and headed back over to the group.
"Hey," you called out as you jogged closer.
"And so, I said to Thor, you know because I met him-" Kingo was finishing his sentence as he stepped out of the hut.
"Thor, really? That's funny, I don't remember seeing you on Asgard." You interjected, completely dismantling his lie. The others snickered as Kingo's stuttered trying to retract, embarrassed he had gotten caught.
"Y/N! We were just talking about who to get next," Sersi explained.
"I... I need to find Druig." You said firmly, hoping they would be receptive to your desire to reconnect with him.
You weren't sure what you were going to do as far as fighting off the Deviants with them, but you knew you needed them for find Druig. Once you did that, it didn't matter. Once you had your lover, all would be well, all would be clear.
"Alright, that decides it. Let's go find Druig."
____
The forest was dark and damp, a light fog hung low to the ground, obstructing your view of where you were stepping. Twig snaps and leaves crunching echoed off the trees. There was definitely no way of sneaking to wherever Druig was.
Sersi was guiding the group, as she tried to remember just how far he had gone. She had found him once, long ago when he first settled the village, trying to get him to let them go, but he refused, and casted her out.
"Shh!" She quickly whispered out, causing everyone to stop moving. There was the sound of rushing water in the distance, and just a faint sound of metal on metal clacking.
"We're close."
Nerves began to bundle in your stomach, only this time it was a mixture of good and bad anxiety. There was a special kind of anxiety that came from seeing your lover again for the first time in centuries. You were worried about what you would find, scared he wasn't the same Druig you had left unwillingly. According to Sersi, he had taken your death quite hard, which would change anyone, let alone one who lived through centuries of that torment.
As the sounds grew louder, you began to hear the faint sound of people talking as well. You thought that meant you were still a ways off, but suddenly tents began to pop up around you, dead campfires placed near them with smoke filling the air.
They were all whispering quietly to one another, almost as if they were fearful to speak too loudly. Looking around, you saw many of the same clothing and textiles from the Village you had once stayed in. There were design elements on the woven tents, the log cabins, and even the ground itself, reflecting the culture of the Tenochtitlan villagers from long ago.
As the villagers saw you, a panicked and intriguing look came across their features. Some were fearful, dropping what they were doing and kneeling immediately. Others merely froze, whispering to whoever was next to them in disbelief. You were confused, until you heard Sprite call out from up ahead.
"Oh my god..." You hurried to where she was.
"Wha- oh... my," you had followed her gaze up to see a statue- no, a shrine made of hardened clay of you. It stood tall, firm, overlooking the villagers with a watchful eye. The bronze stone matched your eternals suit you once wore, the details etched out delicately. There were bright orange Dahlias, Marigolds, and Dragonsnaps along the base of the statue- all three of your favorite flowers. Some of the artwork you had once loved also stood at the base, surrounding a modern plaque that hung against the statue. It read:
"Y/N, our eternal goddess"
Your heart stopped as you took it all in. This was how he had mourned your loss, by having the villagers create this shrine for you, smack dab in the middle of their new village, watching over everyone. You gulped, unsure how to feel about this grand gesture of love. You looked to were the statue was facing, and noticed a building directly ahead. It's yellow doors swung open slowly, as someone stepped out from the shadows. Your breath hitched, as you waited impatiently.
"Well, well, well, what do we have here?" He said as he stepped out into the last remaining light that shone through the trees. He was wearing a blue robe over a blue shirt, and linen pants. His feet were dirty and bare, a sign he hadn't worn shoes in a very long time. He hadn't truly aged since you had last seen him, yet he looked older, harder, more callous than he originally was.
"Druig," you whispered, your eyes filling with tears. You began to move toward him, anticipation of feeling him welling inside you. Finally, after all of this time, after all of the nightmares, all of the longing, he was here in front of you. You couldn't wait to feel his lips on yours, his hands feeling every inch of your body, filling every longing desire you've had to your expectation.
"You're supposed to be dead." It was curt, cold, calculating, and it stopped you dead in your tracks, taken aback by the unexpected harshness. He noticed the hurt look on your face, and looked away briefly.
"We buried you. I mourned you. I had nightmares for weeks and even now I can barely sleep without seeing you die... and now you're here?"
When a beat of silence passed, and it was clear you were too speechless to speak, he continued.
"Ah, the great Y/N has returned." It was sarcastic, laced with the hurt he felt deep in your soul seeing you alive after all this time... alive and with her.
"I see you reunited with the traitors, and the cunt who killed you. You come stumblin’ into my woods, and for what?"
No one said a word. You were hurt, devastated at his venomous words spewing at you. Everyone else looked confused. Why would he be mad at your return- especially your return to him. As he took in everyones faces, a smirk appeared on his face. Clearly he had surprised them all, something he took pride on after everything that's happened.
"I'm so sorry, where are my manners. Please, come in," he said as his eyes turned a bright golden color. Suddenly, everyone began to move against their will, following one another into the building he had just stepped out of.
The truth was, he was hurt beyond words. Hurt that you had, somehow, returned to earth, and the first people you came for were the others. Not him. It made him feel things he hadn't felt before, worthless, and like everything he did was wasted energy.
Since your death, he had spent every day in mourning. He made the villagers spend an hour praying to you, worshipping you. He demanded everything you did served your spirit in the heavens. You were their goddess. You were their religion. He created an entire belief around your being, and it all suddenly came crashing down on him, as if it was all for nothing.
Once he had everyone in the room- which you noted was a chapel reflecting the one you had woken up in when Arishem had sent you to earth- Druig slammed the door shut, ready to get this over with.
Sitting at the kitchen table in the compound, all alone, deep in thoughts that left your chest aching was not at all how you imagined your Friday going. The steam from your cup of tea rises and disappears into the dewy morning air, sometimes you find yourself wishing to be something- anything else than what you are, and currently you find yourself wishing that you could be steam. No matter how ridiculous the thought sounds, you wish to be beautiful mist that emanates from warmth, disappearing when its time has come. But you were not- and you will never be anything other than what and who you are.
You would think that a being over 7000 years of age would have a pretty good understanding of humans. Well you thought you did, but humans have never failed to surprise you.
You have always adored humans,
you adored them for the the generosity that they were capable of—
after hours of secretly helping the villagers grow their crops, (by secretly, you meant by doing it while Ajak was busy. since she says that using your powers to speed up the growing process of the village’s crops was considered “interfering and cheating” you mocked her voice and motherly tone in your head) you walked back to where your fellow eternals would be.
on your way back, you stumbled upon a young boy. stick thin, the boy was merely skin and bones which was not unusual in the village at the time, but your heart couldn’t help but break at the sight of him. Standing and what seemed to be hiding behind a tree, watching as other village children ate with their friends. You could almost feel how hungry he was, or maybe that was just you, (continuously using your powers for hours does always work up an appetite) brushing away the thought and rolling your eyes at yourself, you made your way over to the boy. Laying a gentle hand on his shoulder, you signalled for him to follow you and started walking. It didn’t surprise you that he followed you without question or even the slightest bit of hesitance, trust from the humans had always come easy for you. “It’s the sense of warmth that you bring into everyone you come close to, the feeling of being so safe and comforted and cared for. You could tell a man to walk off a cliff and I would bet Makkari’s jade tablet that he would follow your instructions without even giving it a second thought! My beautiful beautiful love, you are the most extraordinary thing to have ever walked this earth and the humans know it too. They have given you the name Mother Nature, of course they trust you, I wouldn’t be surprised if most of them were to be in love with you, and I don’t blame them.” Druig’s words ring in your head as you recalled the moments of how he would ramble on about you whenever you felt down or unworthy, it never failed to bring a smile to your face and make you fall even more in love with him. Snapping back into reality, you and the child stood in front of a dying tree. His eyes followed your every movement as you brought one hand up to press against the tree and as your eyes turned into a beautiful shade of gold, watching as the dry and slouched tree began to straighten up, watching as the crumpled brown leaves turn into beautiful shades of green, watching as fresh apples started to grow, he watched with nothing but awe as your brought life back into the tree. Reaching up and plucking the best looking apple for him, he gratefully took it from your hands. You crouched down, adoring how his small nose scrunched with excitement. Just as he was about to take his first bite out of the apple, your stomach gave out a loud grumble, you looked away embarrassed and chucked to yourself, “I guess I’m pretty hungry too” you thought to yourself. Looking back to the young boy, he had on a blinding smile and let out a laugh that was so childlike and pure, the kind of innocence that could only have come from a child. The next thing you know, he was pulling out a knife, a knife that was made out of gold…? a second went by and you recognised the familiar symbols and patterns on the knife. Sersi must have used her powers to make such a special gift to the boy, it was nice to know that you weren’t the only one breaking dear old mother’s rules. The boy used the knife to slice the apple in half and hold one of the halves to you. You and the boy just stood there for a while, you were staring at him in awe, a starving young boy that was willing to give you half of what was his. Whist you were stuck in shock, the boy seemed to have understood every thought that was going through your head as he carefully brought himself closer to you and wrapped him tiny arms around you and stuffed his face into the crook of your neck. You ever so slowly hugged him back, his small body in your arms, it made you feel like protecting the boy from anything that could potentially bring harm to him. Letting go of him, you gratefully declined the half of his apple and made sure that there were plenty more on the tree that he could reach. You brought both your hands to his face, loving him, loving humans, in that exact moment of time, your heart was so full of love towards human beings. Standing up from your crouched position, you walked away from the boy and towards the Domo.
That is only one of the things that you’ve come to love and understand about humans, if you were to list every single one of them, we would be here forever. Being alive and caring for humans for over 7000 years has left you with countless of stories, good, bad, heartwarming, and heartbreaking, you have them all and we’ll get to more of them later on.
Another thing that you love about human beings is their ability to forgive.-
The Avengers had found it in their hearts to forgive you; an Eternal, for not giving any help or assistance during the battle againts Thanos. It took them a while, but after explaining your side of everything, who you were, the purpose of your existence, the lie of your entire existence that you believed, they forgave you and invited you into the team with open arms. Were you an Avenger? No, you wouldn’t consider yourself an Avenger, you’re an Eternal and will always be one. But after Ajak told everyone about the truth, you couldn’t just stand in the sidelines and watch from afar like how you used to do before, believing that it was the best thing to do. No, now step in, you help and protect alongside the Avengers. The Avengers only know your fellow Eternals through your stories, sometimes when baby Morgan would beg you to read her a bedtime story, you’d find that some of the Avengers have followed you into her room and would be listening into your glorious stories. You find yourself thinking about your family often and how much you miss all of them, but one in particular; Druig. The two of you have always danced in between the line of friendship and something more, but nothing official had happened, sure, you’ve spent countless of nights in his bed with your legs tangled in his, but he was not your and you weren’t his, even though deep down, you both know that you own each other’s hearts. It’s been over a century since you’ve last seen him, but the memory of your last day together is fresh in your mind.
Ever since you’ve joined the Avengers and living in the compound, two redheads had caught your eye. Natasha and Wanda. The two had been together for a while before you arrived at the compound, both were amazed at what you were, after seeing your powers work their wonders and how nature acted as though it was a part of you, how the sky would darken and rain if something had really upset you, how plants would naturally gravitate towards you whenever you were close, and how they would wilt if you were sad and your powers would take over. They loved everything about you and were planning to officially take you out on a date soon, but things rarely ever go smoothly for the avengers. The media has been coming down hard on the Avengers, talking about how they bring more harm to the world rather than peace, bashing each and every one of the Avengers; except for you. That’s right, you don’t consider yourself an Avenger but the world has apparently made you an honorary Avenger. it infuriated you how far the media would go to bring down the Avengers, the things that they would say about the women that you’ve grown to adore infuriated you. But no one could hate you, you were the myth of Mother Nature for gods sake! the sculptures of you from ancient times, and stories of you only had the media fawning over you. It was safe to say that the tension in the compound was very apparent and you did your best into lifting everyone’s spirits, but it seemed like everything you tried would only worsen everybody’s moods. They couldn’t help but resent you.
Coming back to present time, you remember what has been giving you this sinking feeling for the past couple of days. Wanda and Natasha had been gone for a mission for the past week, not even a goodbye as they left. In the past few days, you have basically been ignored by everyone on the team and you tried your best to understand what was going through their mind and what they were feeling, but you couldn’t quite get your grasp around it. So you did what you thought was best, stayed out of everyone’s way.
You didn’t think that “everyone” included Natasha and Wanda, so you spent your time lounging in their room like how you were used to. That was until the two came in with darkened faces, you sensed it immediately and tried to provide any kind of comfort, you tried to bring Wanda in for a hug but she only gave you an icy look and pushed you away, it hurt more than you’d like to admit as Wanda has always been the affectionate one and would normally cling to you like a koala. Pushing away your hurt, you decided on asking Natasha what was wrong, before you could get any words out, she spoke “You’re here? again? You just think you’re so perfect don’t you? if only you could see yourself the way we do. Just get out, just get far away from the both of us.” Shocked, you opened your mouth to speak but you couldn’t find the words, you pushed down all the hurt that you were feeling, you understood that they needed space right now, but you were just not used to being treated this way, especially by the two women. You were used to always bringing a sense of calm and peace wherever you went, you were used to being adored by humans. You tearfully nodded and headed back to your own room, hearing the door of their bedroom slam shut as you left. In all your years, you’ve never felt more unwanted and out of place. They left for a mission days later, you missed their presence, but even with them here, you wouldn’t have felt any less alone. Because in the days after that terrible night where they kicked you out of their room, you still tried pleasing them, thinking that they’ve cooled off and had forgiven you for whatever you might’ve done that had pissed them off to that extent, but nothing worked, all you’d receive were harsh glares that had the rest of your teammates feeling sympathetic for you. Feeling defeated, you gave up. The only good thing was that with the two women being so hard on you, has somehow made the rest of the team soften up on you, all of this was never your fault in the first place.
You hadn’t interacted with most of your teammates, only leaving your room to eat and tend to your plants, but the more you were around the plants, the quicker they would wilt. You made a vow to yourself to not get too emotionally close or attached to your teammates, especially the two redheads, this might’ve been petty on your part but you just didn’t want to feel that kind of hurt again, and if you don’t give people the ability to hurt you, they can’t. Walking back to your room, you lay curled up in bed deep in reminiscing of happier times, as all the plants in the compound wilt and dry up, as the clouds darken, and as thunder and lightning strike.
One of the lesser adored things about humans is how temperamental they could be.
You’ve seen this trait in them be the one to start wars that kill millions, hurt everyone around them, and hurt the planet itself. You just didn’t think it was ever possible for their actions to hurt you as much as it has.

____________
‘’I now pronounce you man and wife,’’ The Pastor says. ‘’You may kiss your bride!’’
Your smile radiates across your face, you could barely hold back the tears of happiness that flooded your eyes. It was the most perfect day, the weather was amazing, the flower arrangements were pristine popping out against the stone surrounding the area. You stood along the center of the aisle, your camera capturing their first kiss as a married couple. Travis, the groom, had dipped his newly beloved wife slightly and you could see them both smiling through their kiss as everyone cheered around them hyping them up. You kept clicking away at your camera happily to get the beautiful moment for the couple. He pulls her back up from the dip and raises their hands in the air. You start to walk backward wanting to capture their moment down the aisle as they walk toward you with a permanent smile upon their faces.
Once the ceremony had ended you grabbed the happy couple for portraits and wedding party photos, ‘’Ah, these look so amazing,’’ You tell the bride. ‘’Come look,’’ You tell her, you bring up the photos on your camera showing her some sneak peeks, including the ones of their first kiss as husband and wife.
Her jaw dropped immediately, ‘’Oh my gosh these are already going to make me cry,’’ She says her eyes brimming with tears, she reaches up with her perfectly manicured hand holding it just below her waterline. ‘’Oh shoot,’’ She says.
‘’No, no, no!’’ You tell her snatching the camera from her view, ‘’Don’t cry, don’t cry!’’ You usher her, her now husband makes his way over to his bride, ‘’I showed her sneak peeks.’’ His lips turn into a tight smile and he puts his hands around her shoulders.
‘’We still have another half of a wedding to get through love,’’ He tells her and she straightens up looking at him. She glances toward you once again and she smiles, taking a deep breath.
‘’I’m so excited to see them,’’ She tells you, grabbing your forearm and squeezing it tightly. You offer her a smile in response, ‘’We are going to sneak away for a bit and you can meet us in the reception hall in like ten,’’ She tells you and you nod in confirmation, that would give you time to take pictures of guests and the cake before it was devoured.
You glanced down at the camera in your hands once more looking at the photo of them walking down the aisle and the shot you had gotten was all too familiar.
‘’I love weddings,’’ Kingo says next to you, his shoulder bumping against yours. ‘’So beautiful,’’ He says.
You laugh at him, ‘’You looked like you were going to cry the whole ceremony,’’ You tell him, still laughing. ‘’I love them too, everyone is so happy and together.’’ You say looking around. Sersi and Ikaris were dancing together. The music playing in the background so lightly by the locals was beautiful. Everyone was dressed in Indian wedding attire and the candles were lit throughout. It was truly beautiful. There was cake and sprite was already indulging in it, Ginglamesh and Thena were standing by the buffet of food.
‘’Maybe we’ll have another wedding sometime soon huh?’’ Kingo says and your head turns to him quickly, he nudges your elbow, ‘’Oh come on everyone knows your head over heels for him.’’ He says.
Sprite walks over with a plate of cake, ‘’It’s pretty obvious,’’ She says not giving you the benefit of the doubt.
You huff in response, and before you can say anything else Druig was standing in front of you his hand outstretched, ‘’M’Lady,’’ He says to you. Your hand instinctively reaches out to him as if it was second nature, as if your hand belonged in his. You raise out of your seat and Druig turns around guiding you to the dance floor where a slower paced song was playing, he takes your hand and delicately places it over his broad shoulder. His hand slips behind the middle of your back pulling you closer into him, if that was even possible.
You sat in silence for a minute just swaying back to the music, ‘’Weddings are nice right?’’ You ask him, ‘’Do you like them?’’
He laughs as an answer to your question, ‘’Yeah they’re nice.’’ He shrugs.
You once again go back to silence for a few moments before you ask another question, this one you were more nervous about, ‘’Do you want to get married?’’ You say and before he can answer you clarify, ‘’Much later, you know down the line,’’ You ask him.
He looked like he was thinking about it for a moment, ‘’Probably, I mean it gets lonely living forever if you don’t have anyone to love.’’ He says. ‘’Do you?’’
‘’Yes.’’ You say immediately, ‘’After seeing today, yes.’’ You could feel the warmth radiate up through your neck and face. If he could tell you were blushing you didn’t know but the amused smirk on his face said he knew something, what that was you wouldn’t ask.
You could feel his eyes steady on your lips and his eyes went golden,’’ kiss me.’’ Your brain told you to do just what he wanted.
‘’In front of everyone?’’ You question glancing around at where everyone was, most of them had been sitting eyes on the dance floor itself. He just nodded in response and again you felt compelled to do exactly what he said. ‘’You know you don’t have to compel me to do this,’’ His eyes were still golden looking at you but you didn’t feel forced at all, you reached you grabbing his face in your hand and he leaned slightly into your hand his head tilting to the side leaning into your hand.
This was the exact moment you knew you loved Druig, you knew that if you had a wedding you wanted it to be with him. To be with him forever would be the greatest gift in life and you could only ponder if he felt the same, despite it being the perfect moment you found yourself unable to bring yourself any courage to ask him. Your heads began to move closer and you felt his lips finally touch yours, it was timeless like you had all the time in the world for more and hopefully you would for a long time.
When he pulled away you leaned your foreheads against each other resting there for just a moment, ‘’You forgot something today,’’ He tells you his eyes finally opening to meet yours. You look at him confused as to what you could’ve forgotten, ‘’Left it in my room the other night,’’ He tells you. He pulls his hand from your waist and grabs your hand in his pulling you over to the tables where everyone else sat.
‘’Don’t you dare say a word,’’ You tell Sprite as her mouth opens no doubt to make a smart remark. You watched Druig reach down into a bag and pulled out your polaroid camera, your face immediately lighting up, ‘’Oh my gosh, I looked for this all morning.’’ You tell him taking it from his hands.
‘’Where was it Y/N?’’ Sprite asks and Kingo snorts next to her; they both began to laugh trying to hold it back just the slightest but it definitely doesn't work. ‘’Do tell.’’
You lean over to her taking your hands and ruffling it through her hair which she absolutely hated, her body going rigid at your touch as she swatted your hand away. ‘’I’ll be back,’’ You tell them, Druig offers you a smile as you run over to the newly wed couple.
Immediately you run over to Sersi and Ikaris, your camera in your hand at ready, ‘’Can I take a picture of you guys?’’ You ask them and Sersi nods eagerly, they stay at each other's side, Sersi smiling at you and Ikaris was glancing at Sersi with such love, he was smiling at her smile not for the camera. You raised the camera quickly, snapping the picture of them.
Your phone began to ring from your back pocket and you noticed your assistant Alina was calling. You answer immediately she wouldn’t have called you if it wasn’t an emergency. ‘’Hello?’’
‘’Oh hi, Miss Y/N. Uhm, there's like three people here wanting to see you.’’ She explains. ‘’I know you are shooting a wedding today but they say it's like really really urgent.’’ She tells you.
‘’Is it a couple I’ve shot for?’’ You ask her completely unaware of who it could be.
‘’Uhm, let me ask them.’’ She tells you. ‘’What are your names?’’ She asks them but you don’t hear the response. ‘’They said their names were Ikaris...Sersi, and sprite? They say you went to university together.’’ She says, sounding completely unsure if she had pronounced them right. You felt your body go rigid, why the hell were they here? They hadn’t seen you in five hundred years. ‘’Miss Y/N what should I tell them they said it’s really important?’’
‘’Tell them I will be there when I can and I have to finish up this wedding, I should be back home around seven. They don’t want me to stay the entire reception just the first hour or so for the speeches and cake cutting and stuff. Give them my address and a key in my office on the book shelf under the stapler.’’ You tell her.
‘’You want me to give them a key to your house?’’ She says, sounding shocked.
‘’Yes, Alina.’’ You tell her. ‘’I have to go I’ll be there as soon as I can.’’ You tell her.
Well this ought to be good.
________
When you opened the door to your loft there stood Ikaris by your bookshelf, Sersi was sitting on your sofa, and Sprite was on your computer in the corner of the room. ‘’Make yourselves at home I guess.’’ You tell them.
‘’Y/N,’’ Sersi says standing from the couch making her way over to you. She brings you in for a hug, ‘’It’s been so long,’’ She says to you, you reluctantly hug her back. Despite Ajak, Sersi was the only one who reached out to you regularly. ‘’It’s so good to see you again,’’ She says, releasing you from the hug and offering a heartfelt smile.
Ikaris stood at the bookshelf still with his hands in his pockets, ‘’Y/N,’’ He says.
‘’Ikaris,’’ You say back to him walking over toward the couch, you pull your bag off your shoulder, setting it down gently. ‘’Find anything good on there?’’ You ask Sprite.
‘’Nothing I can use against you,’’ She says with a hint of a smile on her face. ‘’You still take pictures?’’ She asks you.
‘’Everyday,’’ You tell her. ‘’It’s my job.’’ You point out.
‘’Y/N,’’ You hear the tone of Ikaris voice break the slightly happy moment you seemed to have. ‘’Ajak is dead.’’ He blatantly says.
Your head does a weird twitch instantly turning from left to right, Your face draws into a state of confusion completely taken back by what he had just said . ‘’You could’ve given her a couple more minutes,’’ You hear Sprite say softly.
‘’What do you mean she is dead?’’ You notice the uneasiness in your voice. ‘’I just talked to her two weeks ago, I went to South Dakota?’’ You tell them. You had just stayed at her house, had showed her the nature project you had been sent on a few months prior, now she was dead?
‘’The Deviants,’’ Sersi tells you in her soft voice. ‘’They’re back, we were attacked by one in London.’’ She tells you. You grabbed onto the edge of the couch allowing yourself to slowly sit down feeling lightheaded by the news. Ajak had been a healer. How did she die? How was she the first of you to die? Could she not heal herself? What stopped her from doing so? ‘’They’re coming after us now, not the humans.’’ She explains.
‘’Why? They never did so before?’’ You ask. It didn’t make any sense. None of this made sense, ‘’She can heal herself, how did she not heal herself?’’
‘’We don’t-’’ Sersi began to say but was quickly interrupted.
‘’We don’t have much time to waste,’’ Ikaris points out. ‘’Sersi talked to Arishem, and the emergence is beginning.’’ Ikaris tells you.
‘’Arishem? The Emergence?’’ You say you were confused, your head spinning a million miles a minute.
Sersi explained it to you in great detail, ‘’Kingo, Thena, and Gilgamesh are all waiting for us.’’ She explains, ‘’We need you to come help us,’’ She pleads, ‘’We are stronger together, and I fear if we don’t get to everyone soon that another one of us is going to die.’’ She says.
You nod your head trying to process everything, your entire life was a lie. You hadn’t come from a home, you had been engineered, made by Airshem. ‘’Okay,’’ You say aloud, ‘’Okay.’’
‘’Is she broken?’’ Sprite says waving her hand in front of your face.
‘’No I’m not broken, I just need a second to process,’’ You tell her. ‘’I need to get a few things and then we can go.’’ You tell them. ‘’Where are we going next?’’ You ask them.
Sersi glances at both Ikaris and Sprite before looking back to you with a somber smile on her face, ‘’To Druig,’’ Sprite points out. You let out a deep breath once again, of course it was him. You had tried everything in your power to not think about him over the past thousands of years. Every once in a while you would find your mind wandering to him, thinking about where he was now, what he was doing, who he was with. You hoped he wondered about you sometimes despite the mess he had left you in those thousands of years ago, you hoped he remembered you well.
_______________
The Amazon was beautiful, even more beautiful than you had remembered it to be. The nature expedition you had been sent on when you were working for National Geographic was in the Amazon, you had never pictured that Druig was somewhere so close to you during that time. You all walked through the Amazon, coming upon small things that did show signs of civilization, water buckets left on the ground, footprints in the mud surrounding the area, guns strategically placed upon trees hidden throughout many miles. It wasn’t long until you all came upon a small community, the people walking around doing chores and animals throughout. ‘’It’s very nice here sir,’’ Karun says, pulling the camera from his face; You had grown quite fond of him during the plane ride over.
‘’Don’t be fooled,’’ Kingo says as he continues forward, ‘’Ignorance is bliss.’’
You heard Sprite talking to a local man, as you glanced over you noticed he had turned around his eyes the same golden color the soldiers had been when Druig left. ‘’Hello, Sprite.’’ He says aloud. ‘’Come,’’ The man says, everyone glances around to each other warily, there was no doubt this was Druig but where he was is the main question on everyone's mind. You noticed everyone around the area had stopped what they were doing, they began walking toward a specific building toward the center of the small town.
As you all made your way in between the sea of bodies, they stayed silent looking at the doors of the main building. And just a few moments later the double doors opened and Druig stepped out, a dark robe wrapped around his body. You felt the expression of your face harden, you thought you would feel different seeing him after all these years but the anger had built up, the hatred was there for how he had left without so much as a decent goodbye.
‘’I missed all of you,’’ He said smugly, his eyes never meeting yours. ‘’Please make yourselves at home.’’
Whatever this building was it was small, how you could fit all the people outside in this room you would never know. You had chosen a seat furthest back away from Druig, he had yet to make any form of eye contact with you, he sat and listened to Sersi explain everything just as Ikaris had blatantly said to you, you would have preferred Sersis gentle breaking down of everything compared to what you were given.
‘’You’ve given me a lot of bad news in one go,’’ He points out.
Sersi glances up,’’Will you help us?’’ She asks him.
‘’I am glad-,’’ He begins to say but Sersi’s ringtone interrupts him streaming the music throughout the small room and you held back a stifled laugh, you yourself enjoyed that song. Once she had silenced her phone Druig moved himself up from where he had previously sat pacing in front of the room, ‘’Do you all remember this forrest? Beautiful right?’’ He says. ‘’It was the last place we all lived together. I’ve protected these people for 20 generations now from the outside world and themselves.’’ He says walking over to Karun. ‘’Your kind will be responsible for your own extinction. Don’t you think?’’ He says directly to him.
Karun innocently says, ‘’I think we must learn from our mistakes,’’ He says clutching the camera in toward his chest, ‘’And do better, sir.’’ Druig doesn’t say anything in response instead he forcibly makes Karun throw his no doubt expensive camera against the wall shattering it to pieces.
Kingo stood up immediately, ‘’Oh no you didn’t. New rule no more possessing people.’’ He says standing straight in front of Druigs face.
‘’Where’s your sense of humor?’’ Druig says a smug smile on his face.
‘’I’m sorry sir,’’ Karun interrupts.
‘’You don’t have to apologize,’’ You say aloud to Karun, it had been the first time you had spoken aloud in front of Druig since you arrived. ‘’Druig is not a god and he needs to realize that.’’ You point out your voice laced with as much malice as possible.
Druig turns away from Kingo, his eyes finally meeting yours after you spoke aloud, you could see Kingo’s eyes go wide at your interruption and finally the confrontation. ‘’Y/N’’ Druig says, your voice still sounded as good as its did ten thousand years ago, you rise up from your seat walking over to him. ‘’Miss me?’’ He asks you his voice taunting.
‘’Not exactly how I would put it,’’ You tell him, staring straight into his eyes.
‘’And what would you call it then?’’ He says he had seemingly gotten five feet closer in just those few seconds. ‘’Do tell,’’ He says his hand reaching up to touch your face like he used to do all those years ago, before his hand could even touch your skin you swatted his arm away, he didn’t seem to be too shocked but a little disappointed?
Before you could even retaliate Ikaris had pushed himself off the wall, ‘’Let’s go, he's wasting our time.’’ He tells everyone.
Druig still has his eyes on you a sly smile making its way to his face as he turns around meetin Ikaris as he was ready to walk out the door, ‘’Ikaris!’’ Druig says, ‘’Missed you.’’ He says but you could tell it was a lie, ‘’What are you gonna do charm me? Threaten me?’’ He asks coming face to face with him.
‘’There is a third option,’’ Ikaris says standing his ground. ‘’I’m sure you must be heartbroken to find out your not mothers favorite,’’ He says.
‘’This is serious,’’ Sersi says.
‘’I’ll tell you what is serious, I’ve just found out I’ve been on a suicide mission for the last 7,000 years.’’ He says pacing back to the front of the room. ‘’And that my entire existence is a lie, so excuse me for not giving a shit about your plan right now.’’ He says, this time he doesn’t stay, he walks out the room leaving everyone there.
‘’Druig sucks,’’ Kingo says.
You sigh, ‘’Yes, yes he does.’’ You agree. With that you knew nobody else was going to take the initiative to talk to him so you took the leap and went ahead and walked outside after him. He was already so far away so you quickened your pace practically in a jog after him, he finally entered a large home it looked like. You walked up to wooden steps, they creaked as you went up and you walked over the porch to where the front door was. It was a screen door and you looked around before pushing it open, ‘’Druig?’’ You called out.
‘’You get the short stick?’’ He asks you nonchalantly to pass in front of you to another room, you jump back slightly not expecting him to have been so close. ‘’Must have, I know you wouldn’t come here willingly.’’ He points out.
‘’I chose to come,’’ You point out. ‘’It’s a lot, I get it Druig. But it’s better if we are together.’’ You point it out to him.
‘’We’ve been fine since we last saw each other? What’s gonna change?’’ He asks you to come out of the room to your left leaning against the door frame, ‘’Tell me what will change? The people here have been protected fine for centuries now.’’ He says.
‘’The deviants are back, obviously we didn’t do things right.’’ You point out. ‘’So get over yourself and help.’’ You say to him sternly, your arms crossing over your chest.
A cocky grin fell onto his lips as he looked at you his eyes wandering down your body and then back up, ‘’You’ve gotten feisty since the last time we’ve seen each other eh?’’ He asks you.
‘’No I just don’t put up with shit,’’ You say, offering him the fakest smile you possibly could. ‘’Learned that the hard way,’’ You say his eyes meet yours, the smile falling from his face. ‘’Can I ask you something?’’
He stares at you as if unsure, you see him take a deep breath before answering, ‘’Ask a way,’’ He says it as if it was a challenge.
‘’That night, did you hear what I told you?’’ You ask him, ‘’Did you even care?’’ You ask. You couldn’t look at him when you asked, everywhere seemed more interesting than his eyes right now because if you looked into them you knew you’d be done for.
You could hear the floor creak as he took his time stepping closer, ‘’Look at me,’’ He tells you. ‘’I’m not gonna make you, just look at me,’’ He says. You glance up, biting the inner part of your lip to keep your lip from quivering. ‘’What I did was never easy for me,’’ He tells you. ‘’And I’ve had five hundred years to think about it.’’ He tells you. You feel a hand reach up to your arm and instinctively you roll your shoulder back away from him. ‘’I really have missed you,’’ He says to you.
‘’No,’’ You say shaking your head. ‘’You can’t do that, you can’t leave the way you did after hearing me tell you what I did-’’ You say but he cuts you off.
‘’That you loved me,’’ He says aloud, you weren’t gonna be the one to say it.
You felt yourself overwhelmed with anger, ‘’You can’t just think that didn’t affect me,’’ You tell him. ‘’To tell you how I truly felt, to stop holding back from you. Just for you to walk away.’’ You tell him.
‘’Let me make it up to you then,’’ He says, his voice soft, and somewhat pleading.
‘’If you want to make it up to me you can join us,’’ You tell him. Before he could answer you, you had turned away from him making your way out the screen door slamming it on your way out. You walked down the steps once again the old wood creaking beneath your shoes. You took a deep breath as you walked through the center of the village toward the singled out path across the way.
‘’I’m guessing that didn’t go well,’’ You hear Sprite say literally from out of nowhere, you don’t even bother turning to her to acknowledge what she had said you just kept walking your right hand in the air showing her a specific finger.
The last time you had been in the Amazon you found so much peace by the water, so that's where you wanted to go. As you walked to the shore line you heard the trees ruffling behind you, you glanced over your shoulder but nothing you could see was around. Sprite had probably followed you to pester you over what happened with Druig. Staring back down to the water you watched for a few minutes, peacefully and you could feel yourself calming down. As you glanced out at the water you noticed the large ripples in the water, you squinted trying to see what was in the water that was so big.
You pushed yourself up from the ground walking closer toward the shore line, as you got closer you felt your body still a large wave of panic coming across your body. Arising from the river was a deviant, and by the scream you had heard coming from a distance behind you it wasn’t the only one.
Description: Y/N must face Druig, the man who she loved and the man who left her after thousands of years apart. (Druig x Fem! Reader) SPOILERS if you haven't seen the movie.
Read the Prologue here
Note: Hello all! Trying to get a little bit of a base for a back story here that does follow the movie! There will be some more scenes with Druig coming soon but I also wanted to establish the reader independently as well. I'm planning on doing some flashback scenes as well so you can see more of their relationship prior to separation Thanks for reading!
The earth was genuinely such a beautiful place. Things like the way the trees changed colors as the slightest chill came across the earth, how dewy it felt in the mornings when there was a fog across the rivers and birds chirping in the background as the sun threatened to leak over the backsides of the mountain. Then there was the people, the beautiful people that inhabited earth and their families they had created, the tribes they had created, the homes they had built from raw materials from the earth, they were truly amazing.
It seemed like nothing was just purely beautiful though, everything always has its faults and this Earth had them as well. While there was so much beauty in the people there were also so many faults, there was deceit, war, betrayal among people, killing for the sake of war. It was truly one of the worst parts of it all, seeing the world so beautifully but also seeing it so broken, and you knew there were so many trials ahead for earth that were beyond what you knew now, things were only going to advance from here.
There was a war around you, the sound of guns firing every second and the forest wasn’t the beautiful green serene place it normally was, it was in flames, the trees and plants being immersed in flames, it broke your heart to feel the energy of the earth around you dying. The forest was orange, the color of burning fire bouncing off the faces as you all stood and watched the horror unfold. ‘’They’re all going to die,’’ You hear Thena’s voice from behind you. You turned around to see her standing there rigid, her face seemed to have a glowing glitch to it, You turned toward her the broken branches cracking under your feet, ‘’They are all going to die,’’ She repeated once again as if she was in some kind of trance. You finally come to her side and you lift your hand to place it on her shoulder but before you can she forges a blade from her hands swinging it toward your body.
‘’Thena!’’ You call out, and as quickly as it happens you raise your hand in defense and a vine wraps around Thenas feet to keep her from moving just as her weapon hits your shoulder, you had been trying to turn away and the blade hit the back of your shoulder knocking you to the ground, you felt a warm liquid seeping through your sleeve and you reach up blood soaking your hand immediately. Thena took her weapon swiping at the vines around her feet as she took another step forward bringing her staff above her head ready to strike you. Just as she was about to bring it down on you she was tackled by Makkari who had moved her a safe distance from where you were. A few moments later you attempted to push yourself up from the ground noticing the commotion around you, Giglamesh was now fighting against Thena he was catching every swing she was throwing at him, you raised your hand once again wrapping Thenas feet in a mess of vines which threw her off balance just enough for him to slam his fist into her body knocking her cold on the ground. You glance over at Kingo who was on the ground with Makkari who was clutching her stomach blood seeping out of that as well. You watched in shock as everyone around was quite confused at the sudden attack.
‘’Y/N,’’ You hear a hushed voice come to your side and you glance over Druig on his knees next to you, his eyes falling toward the blood covering the right side of your shoulder. ‘’Ajak!’’ He called out to her, she was over with Makkari and Kingo at the moment and she nodded in his direction. ‘’She’ll be over here soon,’’ He says. He grabbed your hand squeezing it tightly and he offered you a comforting smile, one that you granted back to him, Ajak was going to come heal you and everything would be fine.
‘’I’m fine Druig,’’ You tell him, squeezing his hand, he just looks up impatiently waiting on Ajak to come over and heal you.
‘’Y/N, Are you alright?’’ Ajak asks, finally making her way over to you, ‘’What happened?’’ She asks you her hand gliding over your shoulder gently and you feel the warmth under where her hand was. As she let go you glanced down the blood was still there but the large hole in your sleeve you couldn’t feel anything where the cut had been previously.
You take in a deep breath, ‘’I was just watching everything and I heard her say behind me that everyone was going to die and she just kept repeating it, when I went over to see what was wrong she drew her weapon and started to attack,’’ You tell her, ‘’Her eyes they were white,’’ you say.
Ajak looked concerned, ‘’We need to move from this area, we need to move her before she wakes up again,’’ She tells everyone.

‘’I thought Mahd W’yry was a myth,’’ Sersi says, glancing down at Thena’s face, which was peacefully laid back against the cold stone.
‘’There is no cure, so no one really talks about it,’’ Phastos points out, Gilgamesh looked heartbroken for his friend knowing that her life would be spent in such a state, she was technically a danger and it was the first time one of the eternals ever posed a threat to the rest of the team.
A sharp intake of breath catches the room's attention as everyone glances down to Thena who had woken. Everyone slowed etched closer to her, not trying to hover her too much but to make sure she was okay, it wasn’t Thena who attacked it was something else that made her and there was no ill intent. ‘’What happened?’’ Were the first words that rolled off of her lips.
Ajak looked around the room and everyone had a mournful expression, ‘’You attacked everyone,’’ She tells her blatantly. ‘’Sersi, Phastos, Y/N, you nearly killed Makkari,’’ She explains to her.
Thena pushed herself up from the concrete slab glancing around the room, she looked frightened, ‘’I don’t remember,’’ She tells everyone.
With the softest voice Ajak tells her, ‘’You have Mahd Wr’ry. Your mind is fracturing under the weight of your memories.’’ She pauses. ‘’I can always erase them so that you may start over.’’ She says and you immediately turn your head thinking of how Thena must feel to have that be the only option. ‘’We have to inform Arishem and take you back to the ship where we have the technology to help you.’’
Makkari signs to everyone But it won’t be Thena anymore.
Kingo immediately jumps in, ‘’What if it happens again? She could’ve killed you, she could kill all of us.’’ He tells everyone.
‘’And what if it doesn’t?’’ You question, ‘’What if the war triggered her and she just needs to be cautious?’’ You rebuttal him.
Phastos looks over at you, ‘’Mahd W’yry only worsens. It will happen more frequently as time goes on, and it will be hard to avoid those things given what we do.’’
‘’Please,’’ Thena says breathlessly. ‘’Please I want to remember,’’ She says desperately, pleading to let her hang on to who she was.
Ajak lookes to Thena with such kindness in her eyes, ‘’Thena I love you, but it’s not important if you remember or not. Your spirit will remain, you will always be Thena inside. Trust me.’’ Ajak offers her.
From the corner of the room Druig interrupts, ‘’Why should she trust you?’’ He raises the question. ‘’You’re asking her to let you erase who she is.’’ He says his voice steady but you could tell he was about to blow up.
‘’I understand your upset-’’ Ajak begins to say.
‘’Upset?’’ Druig yells out interrupting her, you felt yourself jump hearing the anger in his voice something you didn’t often hear. ‘’We’ve trusted you 7,000 years and look where you have gotten us. Are we really helping these people build a better world eh?’’ He asks. You pushed yourself off the wall you had been leaning on for support, toward Druig slowly. He turns around looking out at the massacre unfolding before him, ‘’We are just like the soldiers down there, pawns to their leaders and blinded by loyalty. It ends now.’’
Below us the screams had halted, the metal clattered to the ground as the killings stopped, Druig had stopped them. Ikaris had made his way over pulling Druig back, shoving him against the wall, ‘’Let them go,’’ Ikaris instructed.
‘’Ikaris back off,’’ You tell him as you come to his side. Druig barely glances your way, his eyes staying on Ikaris.
‘’You’re gonna have to make me,’’ He tells Ikaris not wavering.
‘’Stop!’’ Ajak yells.
Ikaris falls back from Druig releasing him, he glances at Ajak as loyal as ever. Druig looks to Ajak, ‘’If you want me to stop, you’re gonna have to kill me.’’ You tense your jaw at his words and he spares you one slide glance before turning around back to the stupor soldiers. You stand for a moment stunned at what had just unfolded.
Your body began to move before your mind had registered what you were going to do, Ikaris hand reached out grabbing your upper bicep. You instinctively ripped it away from his grasp staring him straight in the eye, he looked as if he had been betrayed. You don’t say another word, just make your way down the steps after Druig who was already at the bottom, ‘’Druig,’’ You call out to him but he keeps walking. ‘’Druig,’’ You call out again hoping he will hear you. You were pushing through people trying to get to him, the soldiers in armor surrounding you when just moments ago they were taking part in a massacre. Realizing he was ignoring you you take your hand and with a slight wave a tree devised in front of him blocking his path. ‘’Where are you going?’’ You ask him as he comes to a halt.
‘’Y/N,’’ He says his voice flustered, ‘’Move it.’’ He tells you.
‘’No, you can’t just leave.’’ You say to him taking the first step toward him, his face doesn’t alter from that stoned expression. The fires were blazing around you the soldiers waiting for Druig to continue. ‘’You can’t do this to these people, they don’t understand.’’ You tell him.
‘’And what let them keep killing each other?’’ He says to you his voice is calmer than you expected.
‘’Then just stop this here and let them go,’’ You plead. You take a step forward putting your hand on his shoulders, one hand reaches up touching his cheek, ‘’We can go somewhere, you and me.’’ You tell him, ‘’Wherever you want.’’
Druig reaches up grabbing your hand and holding it in his, ‘’Do you think what I’m doing is wrong Y/N?’’ A simple question but you knew the answer he was looking for.
‘’Not all of it,’’ You tell him with complete honesty, even if it wasn’t what he wanted to hear, you had to tell him the truth. ‘’Druig I love you,’’ You speak aloud, for years you had known you did but had never told him.
He stands there for a moment just staring back at you blankly, you knew you already had your answer to what he was about to do but it didn’t make the pain of it feel any less bearable. He doesn’t say a word back to you before he turns around the soldiers following him as he walks away from you. You felt the tears streaming down your face the air becoming even hotter around you than it already was, the fire was blazing around you and soldiers kept brushing you in pursuit of Druig.
You stood there for what felt like an eternity, hoping he would realize the mistake and turn back around. It wasn’t until you felt a gentle hand on your shoulder that you realized you were still amongst the ruins that had been left. Ajak stood in front of you, ‘’I’m so sorry,’’ She says to you, her hands reaching up to hold your face in both her hands.
‘’He left,’’ You told her and she nodded her head knowingly.
‘’He needed to,’’ She tells you, ‘’It’s what he believed was right.’’ She says. You felt your face crumble with sadness overwhelming you at once. You had told him you loved him and he walked away. ‘’Y/N you are free to go,’’ She tells you. You look up bewildered at what she had just said, ‘’Go live a life, find a purpose.’’
‘’Leave?’’ You ask her confused, ‘’I will stay with you all.’’
‘’You all are not to live as soldiers now,’’ She takes a deep breath, ‘’Everyone is free to go and do as they please and we will meet again one day. I’m sure of it.’’ She says her voice was not wavering once she truly meant it. ‘’And when we do I want you to tell me everything,’’ She pauses, ‘’everything you have found.’’ A weak smile crosses her lips, ‘’I know you will make a beautiful life for yourself, so until we meet again.’’ She tells you and your hand reaches to the side of her arm and you squeeze it tightly.
‘’But you all are my family,’’ You tell her, ‘’How am I-’’ You begin to say but stop yourself short. It didn’t matter, the rest had no doubt already gone. Your family leaving without a goodbye, and now you have lost two of the best things you had in life all within the span of what felt like a few moments. You look back up at Ajak as she waits for you to finish what you were beginning to say, ‘’Until we meet again,’’ You tell her.

Part One
The next moring you woke up from the beam of sunlight hitting your face. You turned around and saw Druig fast asleep, with you in his arms. You stared at his face.
"I know I'm handsome darlin', but no need to stare." He said amusingly.
"Good morning to you too." You replied.
He pulled you closer to him. He put his chin on top of your head, while your face was buried in his chest. You closed your eyes, savoring the moment.
"We should probably get ready, we might miss breakfast." You said looking up at him.
He sighed "10 more minutes please." His eyes were pleading you.
"Well, if you wake up now then you can take a shower with me." You offered. And with that his eyes shot open. He quickly sat up at looked at you. "Well, what are we waiting for then?" He asked with excitement plastered on his face. You laughed at the child like behavior of your boyfriend, then you stood up to head to the bathroom. Druig followed from behind.
----------------------------------------
You both walked into the kitchen area where the others are, while holding hands. When the others saw it pure silence was the only thing heard. You and Druig ignored it and made breakfast.
Druig sat on the kitchen counter while you took out two bowls, two spoons, cereal and milk. You gave him the cereal and gave him a small kiss on the cheek.
"Alright that's it! I feel like a missed a few chapters here." Kingo yelled, breaking the silence.
"What?" You asked, you only played dumb but you knew exactly what he meant.
"What he meant was since when were you two a couple?" Sprite interfered.
"Last night, in the garden." Druig said not even looking at them. You smiled.
"This is wonderful news! Another couple has risen from our family." Ajak congratulated you two.
----------------------------------------
It was sunset, you and Druig decided to take a visit to the shore. You sat down on the sand, and patted the sand beside, telling Druig to sit. He sat down and kissed your cheek.
"It's beautiful, isn't it?" You asked looking at the sunset.
"Not as beautiful as you, m'lady." Druig said looking at your face.
You rested your head on his shoulder, closing your eyes. You felt at ease with Druig, you always did. He put his arm around you, pulling you closer while rubbing your arm.
"Remember the day we met? You could barely say a word." You laughed at the memory.
"I remember, and I'm glad I met you. Or else, my life wouldn't be complete." He answered.
He rested his head on yours, also closing his eyes. The world could be falling apart, but as long as your safe and with him then he doesn't care for anything else.

Pain. Earth shattering pain. That was what you felt as you watched Thena's glittering sword pierce through your suit. You cried out, but only for a second before your vocal cords were silenced by the blood that pooled in your throat.
You felt yourself choking, before your vision began to fade, Druigs scream filled every inch of your mind before it all went silent. Oh, so eerily silent.
The next thing you know, you felt your body tingle before your eyes shot open, the cosmic air around you instantly filling your lungs.
"Y/N." A deep voice boomed, catching you off guard before you could take in where you were.
It was Arishem. You didn’t recognize him, but you just knew deep in your soul that’s who was before you. You looked down to see his gigantic hand beneath you. Behind you was the planet you were just on- earth- spinning slowly. Panic spread through you as you began to piece everything together.
Druig flooded your mind, and your stomach sank as you realized how quickly he was taken from you- or rather how quickly you were taken from him. You would never see him again, never see his beautiful face, feel his hands wrapped around you. Tears welled up in your eyes, as the memories played like a movie in your mind.
Suddenly, your hands were bound behind your back, and a sharp needle began to pierce through the skin around your lips, as cosmic string began sewing your mouth shut. You cried out, the needle-point pain making you sweat. Previous thoughts of Druig were cast aside for the moment, as you tried to process what was happening.
"Y/N. You have failed your mission."
Failed your mission? You thought to yourself. You weren't given one besides fighting alongside the Eternals- which you did until they turned on you. You began to panic some more, tugging at the strings that bound your arms.
"You can struggle all you want, but there is no use. You cannot escape cosmic strings. They cannot be broken by anyone but a celestial. You were sent to divide the Eternals apart, which you have done successful. But you were not supposed to die. You were supposed to be stronger than that- stronger than them. Something, or someone, distracted you. I could kill them-"
You cut Arishem off, attempting to scream behind the strings in protest at him killing Druig. He didn’t have to say his name, you knew exactly who he meant. Arishem chuckled.
"But I won't. He is needed for the Emergence. Instead, you will wait on cyro until the time is right, where you will train harder with the greatest army, until you prove you are ready to return to Earth and help summon the Emergence. I will let you keep your memories on one rather simple condition…” he paused, dramatically, his fire-lit eyes boring deep into your soul before he continued.
“You stay Loyal To Me.”

“Lady Y/N! It’s nice to see you again,” a voice came from behind you. You turned around, the armor you wore clanking as you did so, to see Thor Odinson walking down the hall.
“Thor, what a lovely surprise,” you smiled, nodding your head ever so slightly.
It had been centuries since Arishem had cut the cosmic string that once bound you to silence. After unthawing you from the Cyro, he sent you through the Bifrost to Asgard, your new home. You began in their army, working through the ranks until you fought alongside Lady Sif and the warriors three, Thor, and Loki.
Odin also had entrusted you with other missions, secretive ones that no one knew about, no one but your best friend, Loki.
“You cannot tell anyone Loki, I mean it,” you had said sternly, grabbing his wrist tightly. His eyes met yours, boring into your soul, before they softened. If it had been anyone else, absolutely anyone else at all, he would have used this knowledge to his advantage. But because it was you, pleading him so desperately to keep this to himself, he swore he’d never let anyone find out. He had a secret of his own… He would have done anything for you, anything at all, because his love for you knew no bounds. But he’d never tell, he knew the love you had for Druig ran deep in your soul.
“I won’t tell a soul; you can trust me.” He had responded, resting his hand gently atop of yours, giving you a small smile.
You were entrusted with a grave family secret, the knowledge of Hela, Odin’s first born, and the destruction of the Valkyrie- Asgards’ elite female warriors. One remains: Brunnhilde, and it was your job to find her. So far, you had had no luck. Wherever she was, it had to be the furthest corner of the universe.
“Where are you headed? I’ll escort you,” Thor offered politely, after pulling you in for a long hug. You had just returned from a long expedition to find Brunnhilde, but you came up empty. You were on your way to inform Odin when Thor stopped you.
“That’s okay, I got my trusty steel, I think I’ll be okay,” you winked. Thor know you could easily take him in a fight, your powers- thanks to Loki- were fully in your control now, making you an easily undefeated target.
“Ah, that you will Lady Y/N. Do find me after you’re done, it’s a big day and I’d like my friend by my side!”
You mentally slapped yourself, you almost forgot. It was Thor’s coronation.
“Of course I’ll be there, Thor! I shouldn’t be long,” you said, smiling brightly as Thor nodded his head, before turning back down the hallway.
Once he was around the corner, you took a deep breath and headed for Odin’s meeting chambers. The guards stationed outside opened the doors, letting you in. The room was dark, covered almost entirely in gold and bronze décor. The candles gave the room a hazy atmosphere, the golden statues twinkling around the room. The room didn’t scream business, it screamed comfort, something you realized Odin prided in a bit too much.
“Lady Y/N, how was your trip?” Odin asked, his voice echoing off the golden walls.
“It was alright. There were no signs of Brunnhilde anywhere though. I think she may be gone, Odin, with all due respect. I’ve looked across the entire universe.”
“I suppose. Maybe it is time to give up searching. I appreciate your exhausted effort Lady Y/N, it does not go unnoticed. If we still had the Valkyrie, I know you would make an excellent fit.” Odin complimented. You bowed your head slightly, before taking your leave of the room.
The second the door closed, Loki materialized next to you, making you jump back your hand finding your sword next to you.
“Jesus Loki,” you said when you realized it was just him. “Don’t do that.”
“I couldn’t help it,” he smirked, before pulling you into a hug. “I’ve missed you,” he whispered gingerly in your ear. “It’s been so boring without you.”
“You’re telling me there wasn’t something you could have done to pass the time?” You giggle, knowing full well he spent the time playing pranks on Thor.
“It wasn’t the same without you. Anyways how serious are you about going to my brothers’ coronation, because I had an idea…” Loki trailed off as the two of you began to walk towards the great hall where the ceremony was going to take place.
“Loki, you know I have to be there for him.”
“Yes, but, it’s going to be dreadful,” Loki tried again to get you to not show. You gave him a quizzical look as you tried to read through him.
“What are you up to?” You asked, staring him down.
“Absolutely nothing, I don’t know what you mean?”
“Mhm. Well, we’re going. End of discussion,” you commanded, just in time to stop in front of the doors to the hall. Loki rolled his eyes, before following you in.
You found your place next to Lady Sif, as Loki made his way to the side near the throne Odin had set up in here. They had cleared out the long tables, making the area standing room only.
As the coronation began, you caught Loki looking at you, a guilty look on his face. An unsettling feeling began to wash over you, as you mouthed: what did you do?
The rest of the coronation, and the events after were hazy to you; it all happened so suddenly. One minute, Thor was being honored and the next you were on the icy frost giants, fighting their men as Thor took revenge for them invading Asgard.
The cold, bitter air pierced through your skin. As you stepped to the side, hiding behind one of the frozen rocks, you noticed Loki off in the distance, one of the Frost Giants had him by the arm. His skin turned pale blue, just like the giant who held him. Your eyes grew wide, and before you knew what was happening, your head slammed into the rock you stood in front of, instantly blacking you out.
When you returned to Asgard you were in the infirmary for all of twenty minutes, before the healers deemed you were back to normal. You were on your way to find Loki, to talk to him about what you saw when you heard Odin’s voice booming through the halls.
“You are unworthy of these realms, you are unworthy of your title, you are unworthy of the loved ones you have betrayed! I now take from you your power! In the name of my father and his father before, I, Odin Allfather, cast you out!”
Thor protested but was cut short by guards dragging him out of the throne room to the Bifrost entrance.
“Y/N!” He yelled when he saw you, struggling against the guards. You called after him, but the guards had already rounded the corner. Shit, you thought to yourself. You had to make a decision quickly: find Loki or find Thor.
“Lady Y/N,” You whirled around to face Odin.
“Where is Thor going?” You asked hesitantly.
“To Earth, where I’m about to send his hammer. He must learn his lesson.”
“And what lesson is that? You know he only did what he thought was best-“
“Ah! That’s the problem, it wasn’t what was best for the realms, it was what was best for himself!” Odin yelled, cutting you off and catching you off guard. You stumbled back a few steps. In all your centuries here, Odin had never raised his voice at you. You could see the instant regret in his eyes, but you quickly bowed your head to him, before leaving.
Later that evening, you found yourself beside Lady Sif and the warriors in front of the Bifrost. When Thor was casted out, Odin had fallen into a deep sleep, making Loki temporary king. Lady Sif had stood before him, pleading to bring Thor back, but the Loki on the throne was not your best friend. He was different, callous, and cold. You had looked at him with utter disgust when he threw the group out of the throne room.
“Who are you?” You questioned.
“What do you mean?” He asked, leaning forward, attempting to be intimidating. You stepped right up to the throne, walking up the shallow steps until you were truly face to face.
“You don’t scare me. I don’t know who you are, or what you’ve done with my Loki, but I will figure it out.” You sneered. He smirked, looking at you dead on as he leaned over to the guards.
“Cast her out too.”
Your face dropped, the anger rising inside of you. The sky began to darken outside, thunder rumbling through the castle.
“Ah, ah, careful now darling, you’re getting dangerously close to treason, something that would cast you out for good.” Loki smirked, before motioning for the guards to take you.
“This isn’t over!” You screamed, as they dragged you down to the Bifrost.
Heimdall gave you a sympathetic look, a nod that said he was on your side, and activated the rainbow bridge. Not even a second later the guards pushed you in.
You woke up with an all too familiar feeling washing over you. Everything ached, down to your bones. You groaned as you opened your eyes. The sun was high in the sky, there was green grass beneath you. You soon realized you were in an oasis of grass, with a small river down the bottom of the hill you were on.
“Where the hell?” You asked yourself, looking around confused. Where the hell did you send me Heimdall?
Earth. The thought was loud in your head as Heimdall answered.
A sudden dark feeling washed over you. Earth… the last time you were on this planet you lost everything: the love of your life, your best friend, and your life.
That dark feeling turned into rage as the pain lingered in your body, your soul aching. The whispers that once filled your head on this planet suddenly returned, only they weren’t evil this time… no, you recognized this voice. It was light and bubbly, echoing it slightly as if they were in a vacant space.
The more you listened, the more you focused, the clearer the voice became…
Sersi.
A/N: if this felt rushed I do apologize, I did slightly rush this to spare you from recapping the events of Thor 1 that we all know very well!
