Sorry I’m currently imagining the tpn cast in the future arguing over who ends up with who in the fullscore trio not knowing that polycules exist so the grace field kids who got left behind ship NE while the grace field escapees + goldy pond cast + Ayshe ship RE and on the other side the Lambda gang ships NR and there’s bets and stuff.

When they ask the trio who they ship with their besties, Emma (amnesiac, but also applicable to No Reward AU) casually supports NR but cannot fathom the concept of them being shipped with another person considering that the two are ALWAYS together (not knowing that people are shipping them with HER), Norman has a whole ass portfolio detailing every moment when RE is domestic af but is otherwise silent about it, and Ray is the most vocal with his ship NE. Like genuinely he will scream and look at you like you’re stupid af for even thinking of shipping them with anyone else.

The wars ensue for a while before Don whispers, “tbh they’re kinda a trio to me it’s hard to think of one of them being separated from the other,” and then Gilda and Anna silently hums in agreement. Emma agrees but is still inwardly somewhat unsure about it before Ray points out that, yeah, it’s hard to be separated from one another and that considering these two, the concept of distance is fucking impossible. Then Norman pops in to suggest a polycule.

Everyone technically loses the bet and pays five dollars each for the trio’s first date😭

Honestly, the fact that nobody else uses the name “Norman” is a whole ‘nother topic of dissection on everyone’s part, not just Norman. Like that speaks VOLUMES. Kaiu Shirai you are a fascinating individual for being able to display such disturbing children while not losing sight of their humanity. Very inspiring indeed.

Honestly I could do a whole character analysis for each and every one of them lmao. Maybe when I have the time.

˚⟡˖ ࣪ emma hardly ever gets jealous, she’s a very self-assured person

˚⟡˖ ࣪ she honestly just feels weird whenever someone tries to hit on you, she does the awkward laugh thing one moment and the next she’s whispering to you saying, “that guy/girl/person is really weird, we should go.”

˚⟡˖ ࣪ sometimes she feels like she’s getting too in over her head, so she does end up feeling a little guilty for being jealous

˚⟡˖ ࣪ but then those feelings are validated when this person gets way, WAY too close to you for either of your guys’ liking.

˚⟡˖ ࣪ if they don’t leave, emma will try to find any excuse for you guys to leave the conversation

˚⟡˖ ࣪ and by any excuse I mean any silly excuse “oh we left the oven on at home, ok bye!” because she genuinely can’t think of anything else in the moment

˚⟡˖ ࣪ she will most definitely be side-eying them the entire time they’re flirting with you because they were just very strange !

⋆˚࿔ norman is kinda like emma in the sense that he doesn’t confront them directly, and doesn’t get too jealous either.

⋆˚࿔ norman’s much more sensible and is more like “oh well maybe they’re just very friendly” so he’s generally pretty composed, he still tries to be polite to them

⋆˚࿔ until they’re touching you and then he’s just immediately grabbing their hand like he’s going to break it

⋆˚࿔ he’ll probably just say something like “excuse me, that’s my partner, please don’t touch them.”

⋆˚࿔ he’s still smiling but the look in his eyes says “I will actually hurt you if you try that again”, especially since he knows you’re very uncomfortable with this

⋆˚࿔ norman will be asking you if you’re ok, if you need anything, basically trying to reassure you that everything’s ok. he’s just making sure your day wasn’t ruined or something

ꕤ｡˚⋆ ray couldn’t give two fucks even if he tried to, he will absolutely confront the person because he knows they’re flirting with you.

ꕤ｡˚⋆ he knows the type of shit they’re trying to pull so he’s immediately taking your hand and giving it a small squeeze and says “hey, this is my partner, quit flirting with them.”

ꕤ｡˚⋆ very silently observing and judging their every move

ꕤ｡˚⋆ one pissed off glance from ray should be enough to get this person to leave but apparently it’s not because they’re either too dense or too persistent

ꕤ｡˚⋆ if they get too close, best believe ray will be the one getting in between you two and telling them to back up

ꕤ｡˚⋆ you ask him if he was jealous and while he doesn’t admit it to you, especially not in public, the blush on his cheeks and the way he intertwines your fingers together when you ask says it all
