The Divine Comedy. I'm reading The Divine Comedy by Dante Alighieri. It basically amounts to 13th century bible fanfiction. It's self insert too. He chills with Virgil (who was his favorite poet). It warms my heart that this important piece of western literature can be boiled down to such simple terms.
