I was just thinking about how I really can't bring to mind any other characters where the actor portraying them has made a conscious decision to continue to give their character overt PTSD symptoms (and to build them over time) outside of an explicit "PTSD arc". Particularly when the characterisation of them as a trauma survivor is not present from the very beginning of the show.

#like I'm sure there are others #but it's for sure not a common thing to see #Very often “PTSD arcs” are resolved within a single season of a TV show (as Sam's on paper kinda was)#and any traits associated with that disappear once the arc is over #I also just think the specific symptoms that Jared chose to give Sam are also relatively uncommon to see portrayed #anyways feeling very :') about it #eternally grateful
