🎶 - because future daddy guitar playing dalton gives me life
Cheyenne was reading on the couch, one hand playing with Dalton’s wild hair as he sat on the ground, leaning back against the couch. He had brought out the guitar she had bought him for Christmas and was playing all of his favorite songs for her growing baby bump. She was fortunate to be on the smaller side, allowing her more time to enjoy the process of it growing. She had been feeling the fluttering around for the last couple of weeks, but no legitimate kicking yet. She smiled softly to herself as Dalton explained to their daughter how he really loved Coldplay when he was younger. It was little moments like these she knew she would cherish and look back on when she could no longer hear. When Dalton began to play “Fix You”, Cheyenne’s hand stopped before moving to her belly. A slight confused look fell on her face until she felt it again. ❝Dalton? I think she’s kicking.❞ She took his hand once he stopped playing to rest on her belly and sure enough, there was a little kick, causing her to laugh. ❝She’s dancing to your playing.❞
