I love Eternys as a character so much I kinda get sad its erased from the narrative but also thats.........why I love them so y'know.

He's I guess a bit weird for a elder dragon in being 'nice' but like, void corruption hits him the slowest and shattering himself was a bit of a hail mary to fix things...well, create the possibility of a world where things were fixed at least.

(Also Nyr wouldn't exist if they were alive soooo)

Been thinking about that one tumblr post thats like "You are 60% water and every lake, river, pond, swamp, creek, and ocean you encounter wants to reclaim it desperately." and like I think that's exactly why Nyr has such a bad time in the Mists when he's in a Fractal or something. Dude is a tiny tiny tiny fragment of the Mists Dragon Eternys. The Mists is made up of NOTHING BUT the infinate shards Eternys shattered itself into to allow multiple timelines to exist at once. They know Nyr is one of them and they desperately want him back but can't work out how. Meanwhile all he knows is that he's doing to get a severe nose bleed if he's in there for too long. Weird that happens to no one else!

🖋️ one canon and one oc: gimme isgarren and, hm, lets spice it up a little and say eternys specifically

Isgarren: This one got blasted into my brain right this second but he has a extensive collection of scents, perfumes and the like from over his very long existence hidden away in his private fault. He doesn't really use them because I think he would evaporate on the spot if anyone made notice of it because he's allergic to seeming like he's making an effort in anything but there's a fascination with it. One of those mortal artforms that mimics potion work but for a fairly pointless end result.

Eternys: One of the symbols under Eternys' spheres is that of mirrors, this is a funny one in that its a prediction of the future rather than anything that falls under fog/fortune. Eternys is a constant shifting mirror of reality and like a mirror shattering into a billion pieces doesn't stop this. All that to say is Eternys has no reflection to speak of. Considering the dense layer of mist that rolls in whereever the dragon goes it's surprisingly hard to get a good look at him. This led to rumours the dragon was entirely an illusion or ghost, something that was easy to believe with how passive he was for an elder dragon.
