Ethan Rice is the most inspirational, artistic, driven human being I've been lucky to meet, be friends with, love/laugh/cry with. I will miss his physical presence but he will be all around in music and future projects to come!
RIP Ethan Rice (September 9, 1986 - January 14, 2015)
Like many of us, Ethan was heavily influenced by Wayne Coyne and the Flaming Lips (he even got the chance to visit Dave Friddmann's Tarbox Road Studio) and of course the powerful music of Neutral Milk Hotel. Ethan's imagination knew no bounds which helped escape the unimaginable daily pain he was going through all his life with Cystic Fibrosis. He was stubborn and determined to fight as long as he could. I that time he was able to write, perform and record hundreds of songs. On top of that, he had time for sculpting his clay puppets and then brining them to life with stop motion animation.
If you would like to send anything to his incredibly loving parents and all around amazing human brother...
