Ethan
Age when his story starts - 15 summer after freshman year and some of sophomore year but then we catch up with him again when he’s a junior in his second semester year when he’s 16 almost 17
He’s in love with Jake but falls out of love with him after he tries to kill him.
He falls in love with Abraham DuReeves his student teacher -> teacher who leaves him with and leaves a note.
He dates a girl named Mary for a year and they break up after that.
Abraham comes back to him. Abraham leaves him after three years together. He is left at the alter and left a note from Abraham saying that he is sorry and that he promises not to return.
Ethan goes into a depression and tries to kill himself then gets himself back together and gets himself through college, meeting and falling in love with Allison Lacroix
Abraham returns once more in the middle of his first year internship, as a patient he has to have.
Ethan is rude to him but eventually learns to be friends with him
They take things a little too far and Ethan “subtly” (as he calls it) cheats on Allison. Abraham and Ethan sleep together and the next day Ethan proposes to Allison out of guilt.
Ethan then tries to cut off all ties to Abraham but invites him to the wedding.
Abraham interrupts the wedding to tell Ethan that he’s in love with him causing Ethan to finally understand that he’s in love with Abraham too.
They run away together.
They are currently engaged.
That’s where we are now.
