A few of the animal characters I’m developing for Ethereal.
Ruby is a female ball python who works as her one-snake-crew in her mine. She has a big fascination with chemistry and enjoys watching cooking shows. She’s pretty affectionate for a python and often wraps herself around her friends shoulders (if they’re bigger than her) or she lets her animal buds sit/perch on her head.
Flurry (Formely known as Snowdin) is a rabbit, but he’s unsure what breed he is. He’s paranoid and stubborn, and a bit of tsundere. He has a curse which makes him constantly cry/bleed a strange sticky black substance from his eyes and nose. Its relatively harmless (it doesn’t hurt him or others) but it can be used to trap people (lik tar) and can be shaped into weapons/bullets by Flurry, although that takes a lot of concentration and its not very powerful. His closest non-animal friend is Cheryl. They disagree, but in the end Flurry trusts and cares about Cheryl and makes that very obvious. Flurry pretty much has a network of rabbits and other woodland animals that scout for any threts (like the police) that would stop Cheryl from doing what she does. stealing stuff) Chris also uses this network, since he’s the guardian of the M.C. Forest (he has another bracelet on his right paw that has a small blue star from Cheryl, but I forgot to draw it :> ) His
Blubelle is the ‘mayor’ of Bluebell, the town where many of the main characters live. She’s a shapeshifter, but not an avian shifter (which is shifting between a bird and a human), as she can shapeshift into anything she has seen. She’s a bit eccentric at times. Its shown she spends most of her time working on projects in her room (along with reading comics and watching stuff) or hanging out with Flurry and Ruby. To the common citizen, not much is known about her.
