Okay but the strange amount of green lizard people in the Horde calls out for lore!
You just need to stand your ground and be firm!
I now honestly wonder how many people actually buy the "Hordak is a super scary person don't disturb or he'll send you beast island" thing.
Like maybe Catra and Adora are kinda the exception because Shadow Weaver will say that while also having a bunch of Shadow Mounters who could probably eat them around twenty four seven.
Scorpia kinda seems a little worried at first around Hordak but in Season 5 even she was like Hordak is just kinda grumpy guy who yells "GET OUT" a lot.
So far all we know the rest of the Horde army knows "Yeah Hordak isn't that scary, he'll just yell at yuh a bit but we all know he won't kill yuh or anything if you go to far"
Despite his bitching about dire consequences, he does tend to give people extra chances over and over again. That sort of thing doesn't really inspire dread you know?
So umm…
Gentle reminder that Scorpia has her own flying scorpion-shaped tank which is quite frankly
🌺✨ADORABLE✨🌺
Just in case anyone wanted to include in their fics

Back in the earliest days of the Horde, Hordak has strange feelings about his most capable officer and no idea how to deal with them
I had this story idea first back in summer, thinking about how Hordak is a mlm and must have crushes before, even if he did never realize what they were, and now I finally finished it.
Excuse me, how am I supposed to take the rest of my SPOP rewatch seriously now that I've realized the Horde sigil is literally just a heart wearing bat wings
It's hilarious because yes, that fits Hordak to a T but also....what was Horde Prime thinking when he designed this 😆
Altho I guess you could see it as Prime's "love" for the universe encapsulated by his control but like?? The wings don't even go the whole way around? There are gaps??
Anyway I'm an English major and in no position to critique the graphic design choices of an ex-intergalactic emperor, and to be fair it IS a dang fine logo. So.
It's still gonna distract me for the rest of the show 😆
Catra after having a flashback on Prime’s ship:

Hordak: "Follow me and I promise you air conditioning on those hot summer days!" and thus he built his empire
Look me in the eyes and tell me that wouldn't sell you on joining the Horde.
"Hello fair Etherian villager. I give you precision controlled micro climates, the ability to have light any time you want it, and also a roof."
Well dang my Podunk nowhere farmer ass is sold.
