On the 8th day of volunteering we bring you 8 elephants grazing in a sanctuary. This is a rescue elephant. See her ear? It should be perfectly round but is looks cut up and jagged. That is how baby elephants are broken and adult elephants are trained. Their big, beautiful and sensative ears are cut, sliced and burned. When the elephants are rescued and brought to the centre we have partnered with, we make sure they are never ever ever ridden and never ever ever have to go through this kind of torture ever again.
