“The Science of Spelling...”
For my use of the word “Spell” when found in a scientific article, I found a publication completed by a J. Richard Gentry [Ph.D.] - This article was mainly in reference to the importance of spelling, why it is important as a writer and as a reader, as well as it’s neurological need for proper spelling.
