Every muscle in his body couldn’t help but tighten, almost like he was in preparation to be scolded. He wasn’t quite sure how to go about this, not at all, and it left his heart pounding in his chest. Swallowing thickly around the lump that had formed in his throat, part of him is glad that he can’t clearly see the younger. It felt awful of him to feel relieved by that fact, but it at least took off a very small bit of the edge that had been growing inside of him.
