Eton Mess (Food Fantasy)
Eton Mess. Maybe, I’ll try it someday?!
Eton mess is a classic British dessert, where whipped cream, meringue and strawberries are layered and served together in a glorious beautifully delicious mess. It has long been associated with Eton College, a public school in Berkshire England, where it is served in the annual cricket match against their rivals Harrow School, who serve their own version of the dessert called Harrow Mess. Other schools have their own version, including the Banana Mess, served at Lancing College, built with whipped cream, meringue, and of course bananas.

For sunny 😎 fun Friday, I made dinner 🍽️ AND a dessert instead of my usual OMAD (one meal a day), For dinner 🍽️, I cooked rump steak 🥩 (peppered) and corn on the cob 🌽 (melted in butter) with a touch of English mustard. For dessert, it was another variation of an Eton mess, but this time using only strawberries, crushed meringue, chocolate chips and squirty cream 🍨
