He knew the most obvious locations for where to track Gia down, in fact, he could’ve just gone to her work and followed her scent if it was fresh enough but he had found he rather liked her mother so the thought of stopping by the open house didn’t seem as appalling to him as it did the previous time. He hadn’t made any children cry then, surprisingly, so hopefully, his luck would continue.
Entering after a short knock, ensuring he shut the door behind him securely, he moved into the house and hummed as he listened out for her. Gia was nowhere around but Evie was in the kitchen and so he followed the sounds of her soft humming to it, knocking on the door frame in case she hadn’t heard him knock on the door.
“Ms. Reiss, I hope I’m not intruding... I was just out looking for Gia...”
