How's one to work with such pretty distractions?
So with Brittany Leigh Jewelry having a pretty happy little life on Etsy, I spend a lot of time on the the site. It's pretty impossible not to get distracted and go window shopping. I have an ever expanding list of favorites, but these are a few pieces I am currently drooling over. If this tiny selection is any indication - I kind of really like muted blue color schemes. Yum.
TerraFirma79 :: This is a husband & wife team based out of Altoona, PA (I had to look it up - it's about 100 miles east of Pittsburgh). They use reclaimed pallet wood to make super cute, rustic clocks. Each clock is made to order and thus unique in its own little ways, and they're pretty freaking adorable. I want one and I don't have one and it's not okay.
Ruth Kraus :: Ruth's shop is full of yummy looking leather bags in cozy neutral colors. She is based out of Israel and everything is made by hand in her studio. I have been wanting a cute but comfy backpack for lugging my pile of stuff around to and from my own studio, and I've been craving this baby for awhile now.
Back Bay Pottery :: Christine makes all of her super pretty pottery in California. I'm a little bit jealous of her location. She makes all kinds of ceramic wares and little trinkets, but mostly I am dying to have an entire dinner set of hers. It has that antique-y, rustic feel I can't get enough of, and I need to have it.
Drawn to Love by Kelly Bermudez :: Another artist living in a sunny state - Florida this time - Kelly does sweet and simple watercolor paintings, and prints of those watercolors. The birds on the birch tree is a fave, because it's just so lovely in its simplicity. I'm always in awe of those who work in watercolor because I have tried and find it outrageously frustrating.
So I hope you have all gotten the hint by now and are on your way to buy me lots of pretty things over at Etsy. :P
