⥠:ă @euxjoonwooââ ă | grief clouds her mind and this fog is difficult to dispel. her life was normal a mere days ago, or as normal as one could have as a demigod, but in a minute span of time, her world has suddenly shifted, thrown around, tilted on its axis until itâs something she barely recognizes. now itâs time to live with a new normal.Â
to keep some semblance of her old normalcy, sooahâs crept out of her cabin in search of an empty practice room so that she can practice her magic. she canât help but think about the what ifs. what if she was there too? would that make a difference? would it have prevented the loss of her sister? what if it had been her alone with the drakon? would she be able to take on the monster herself?Â
though lost and plagued with these thoughts, the only thing she can focus on, the only thought that breaks through the cloud of grief is the need to get stronger.Â
fortunately for her, with the lock down going on, itâs much easier to find a room to herself. unfortunately, she knows that she has to be much quieter than normal. sheâs not about to get caught by patrol and sent back. sheâs going crazy in her grief if she has to return to her cabin. she mumbles a quiet barrier spell to keep out anything dangerous: read: the drakon, before she focuses on a pile of hay that she pretends is the actual drakon. she can vent out her anger on this hay-drakon figure.Â
she swears her heart drops the moment the doors to the training room opens, eyes widening as she turns and stares at the looming figure illuminated by a small flame. and her body is plunged deeper into fear and shock when the next thing she knows, the room is suddenly flooded in water.Â
hades, this was not how the night was supposed to go.Â
