Félix wasn’t just a healer for spell damages. He also studied how to treat chronic illnesses that weren’t caused by magic, and therefore needed long term treatment. That meant that not all of his patients were at St. Mungo’s. Some of them were too sick and are unable to use the Floo Network, let alone fly or apparate. So Félix would have to do house calls and visit them in their own homes.

It took him a while to get used to house calls again after the incident that left him cursed with lycanthropy last year. But since it was a part of the job, it inevitably came to a point that Félix could no longer refuse. Now that he felt a little more at ease with his situation, after having Benjy to confide in, house calls no longer bothered him as much.

At least this latest one was in Kent, a place he rarely gets to visit. Upon finally finding the address, Félix gave the door a knock. He didn’t really know what to expect once the door opened. “Hi, I’m Healer Bautista. Are you the patient?”

As soon as they asked who wanted to work for Merlin Rogue’s booth for St, Mungo’s Charity Event, Bilius immediately volunteered. He had no plans to celebrate Valentine’s anyway. Last year, he still had Ethan. But now... Without Merlin Rogue, Bilius would probably be looking at the bottom of a bottle again. At least, working for Merlin Rogue during Valentine’s, Bilius will be having fun and earning money.

While wearing the bare minimum that still kept him warm —  many thanks to the warming spell that all the dancers applied on their clothes — Bilius’ job was to entice drinking customers to pay for a private show inside the smaller tents. As soon as the clock struck ten, Bilius went to work, immediately his eyes found someone who was about his age. “Hey there, good looking fella,” he greeted as he sauntered close. “Anything specific you’re looking for tonight?”
