Un musicista che non conoscevo. E lo ringrazio per avermi contattato. Anche qui avrete a breve una recensione estesa, come nel caso di Joe Fonda. Duck Baker ha qualcosa di Marc Ribot (pur mantenendo una impronta individuale ben marcata), quel modo di decostruire pur restando intatto un certo afflato. Non è una sorpresa dato che qui ritroviamo anche l'avventuroso e provocatorio Eugene Chadbourne in un paio di tracce. Il quale, meno iconoclasta rispetto almeno a certi suoi duetti con Zorn da me ascoltati anni fa, qui mantiene comunque una sua godibilità. Consiglio anche un altro album del musicista all'oggetto, ovvero il più tradizionale "There's no Time Like the Past". Enjoy!
