With a glass of rum nestled firmly in between long fingers and a devilish smile crossing his lips in amusement the heir to the Wei Enterprises strolled across the dining hall located on the first floor of a hotel building where the first rehearsal dinner for the upcoming wedding was taking place. The idea of an arranged married resulting in a genuine happy ending seemed like a mocking of destiny towards all of those who believed in love, Draconis, although, could indeed see the irony in the entire situation.
Moreover, as entertaining as it might seem for the outsiders, he had been acquaintances with both the groom and the bride since before any of them could walk, and in his opinion a better match has yet to be made in heaven. A fact that has been charmingly disclose in his small theatrical performance of a rushed wedding speech to humor the engaged couple and the rest of their guests for the night, as it was expected of a best man like himself.
Draconis operated in an almost mission oriented motion for the matter, in order to make sure that the couple had everything they could possible need to make their weeding night the time of his life, and obviously he had quite a few experiences accompanied his father’s eight ceremonies. – Which made him an avid believer of the fact that every person just need one of those during a lifetime -.
