May I ask - aside from the black and white shading, what draws you to my artwork? I was told once that there is something about the eyes I draw, which is odd to me only because I don't believe I put a lot of attention on eyes. That is, I try to make them simple rather than overly detailed. The only thing I maybe do that is less common is I try to make characters not look directly at the viewer, but slightly out of frame. I think it helps place them in the scene, or so the intent is.

What do you think? Is this what is "striking" about it? Or do you think it's a combination of other things (composition, body language, etc)? Please share your thoughts if you have the time.

And yes, although I wear many coloured and fancy accessories, I primarily wear black formal wear. Always full sleeves and breathable. Modern victorian goth, Y’know. The halo is a joke
