Celestial Rain

The place in the clouds for the divine and its inhabitants. (Think of the Carebears and their city.) (It's like a city or state but divided into different sections (red, gold, and blue) depending on the god's title.

Dahlia Island

The main setting of the story, other than Celestial Rain. An island where the inhabitants worship the gods(both ancient and modern) and their will, often hosting celebrations in honor of them

Emerald Island

An island close by to Dahlia Island, with green sand and water, earning the name Emerald Island. Emerald Island is filled with people passionate about creating and are often commissioned by the people on Dahlia Island for their festivals. Both Islands are in a strong alliance with each other.

An island focused on industrialization and technology

Gods + Stars

Gods and Stars can be replaced; when they die, the replacement they chose gets their position. Think of it like someone getting fired, and now there's a spot that needs to be filled.

Unaligned Gods means that the god should be in a different part of Celestial Rain. The Gods in each section have equal levels of power (think of the 3 branches of gov(checks and balances)

Annie: characterized as the ancient god that put all things “bad” in the world

Analisse: characterized as the ancient god who put all things “good” in the world

(They just have “raw power,” uncategorized; they just did what they wanted and are just being judged in the present world as “good” and “bad”)

Definitions

Gods

Ancient Gods are the original gods, beings with an unknown origin, but they have immense power

Modern Gods are beings born from humanity’s wants or needs(excluding life and death)

Stars: Usually, children of the gods are less powerful than the gods, and they serve the god of their choosing(usually)

Fallen Stars are usually children of the gods, less powerful than the gods, and they are forced to serve a god and usually do not have the blessing/approval of their parents(or any other god that they deem important), or it can be more than one god and be just a collective. But still thrive without it (woo, good for them)

Dying Stars are usually children of the gods, less powerful than the gods, and they are forced to serve a god and usually do not have the blessing/approval of their parents(or any other god that they deem important), or it can be more than one god and be just a collective. and suffer without it (dying stars can become fallen stars; it's all about their mentality)

Other Classifications

Angels are humans with the majority of good karma in their lifetime(this can change based on their actions)

Demons are humans with the majority of bad karma in their lifetime(this can change based on their actions)

Avatars are beings that receive a god’s blessing/favor

Cursed Avatars are beings that receive a god’s wrath/hatred (the god is just a bully, tbh, in most cases)

The Undefined are beings that the ancient Gods created but have “no place” in the world the present gods created; their power, motives, and location are unknown

Reincarnations are beings that have the abilities, memory, and similar appearances to the ancient gods, and other gods who've died

The Main Families are families that have power, influence, and wealth in EDEN(the world the story takes place in)
