Eurasia - we put customers last
I dunno how many of you know, but opposite Pennywise in Trincity mall there is that restaurant called Eurasia (Previously known as Belle Italia). So this place claims to be a fusion restaurant, offering cuisines from Europe and Asia; particularly Italian, Thai and Japanese.
So, being as today was my co-tech's birthday and we had noticed the sign or 2 for 1 cocktails 11am-3pm, we decided to go have a celebratory drink. Well, to start with they need to learn a lil something (or a lotta somethings) about customer service. At the bar it took a while for us to get our first drink order taken, but the drink came fast, so no complaint about that. So while sipping our drink, we decided to order some sushi. Now, my companion was concerned about the type of tuna they were using, so she asked. The server didn't know, which is fine, but it's the way she was trying to ask about it that really wasn't too nice; shouting to the person at the other side, then making it look like we didn't know what we were talking about and we schupid. Thankfully the person at the sushi counter knew his fishes so he was able to answer for us. Took a while for her to be available to take our order because of the trillion and one distractions she was taken up with. Now mind you, this is the person at the bar, the bartender (whether the actually bartender or a fill-in) and she's continuously leaving the bar for extended periods, or on her phone, or conversing with other workers, so it's like the customer has to wait and wait and wait to even get a fraction of attention. And God forbid you hesitate to decide, because she would get distracted again and not come back to you for the next 20 minutes. Eventually I got frustrated and told her (after attempting to get her attention a few times) that we'd like our bill. AT THAT POINT (this is probably half an hour after we had said we wanted a minute to decide what sushi we wanted) she asked, "you don't want the sushi again?" Ofcourse I was like no, just the bill please. And to top it off she didn't give me my 67c change. Poor service seems to be their motto. Or probably "Customer Last"! So, if you thinking of having a drink or maybe eating something other than food court food at Trincity Mall, think twice before walking into Eurasia, unless of course you have a few hours to spare and like to be left waiting with an empty glass in front of you and of course loooovve paying jacked-up prices!
