Gay UKIP Candidate Sexually Assaults Homeless Bulgarian Man

As if we need another reason to dislike UKIP…

  The European Election day is upon us and  it has recently emerged that Gay UK Independent Party (UKIP) Candidate, Peter Lello, was arrested for allegedly sexually assaulting a homeless Bulgarian man. The ‘assault’ took place in Lewisham, South East London on the 2nd or 3rd of May and  he was arrested by the metropolitan police on the 15th of May. Mr Lello has since been bailed.

The UK Independent party has been famously outspoken about its views on immigration within the UK with many finding the parties views racist. UKIP candidates have also been historically outspoken about the parties hostility towards the LGBT community and its stance on same sex marriage.

Given this reported assault, I am surprised Mr. Lello is even associated with the political party and UKIP should be ashamed of their utter hypocrisy.
