@eurosleaz
" um, fuck... "
really strong start, ajay. fantastic opener. this is not even close to according to plan. he'd thought everything through, every single little detail, except now it's all gone to shit. entire plan out the window. scrambling to wing it into something slightly less disastrous.
he fumbles, patting himself down until he finds the pocket he's looking for. of course it's in your jacket, you dumb---
" y'know, i had this all planned out. it was gonna be fantastic. "
but traffic was a nightmare. it's raining in los angeles for the first time in months. the silent horror film festival in the park got cancelled because of the weather, so now he's left without a venue just here on the sidewalk and...
he gets down on one knee, right in a puddle, holding up the little black box.
" marry me anyway? "
Why didn’t anyone tell me there’s a Kino/Redemption streaming service called KinoCult???
I love how all-out eurosleaze these Redemption DVDs and VHS went back in the day. The subsequent Bluray releases actually had art from the films. But these just rule.
Also: La morte vivante is awesome and melancholic. Like a good Jean Rollin flick.
I’ve been selling off a lot of blurays lately and I’m happy to report that my all my Redemption discs are now aligned on the same shelf.

Roy Orbison done. Time for a little Eurosleaze before bed.
Mark of quality.
