Umm about half a year late, but I finally finished this little thing. I really love sebeustace and as such I love to make him suffer💜

It's interesting that the way Lewis characterizes both Edmund and Eustace is by having them idealize the wonders of the modern world.

In LWW, Edmund almost turns back from going to the Witch until he starts thinking about all the ways that he could improve Narnia, like putting in roads, and all the things he'll have when he's King. and then in Voyage, Eustace keeps harkening back to all of the conveniences there are in England, like comparing all the ways the Dawn Treader falls short to a modern cruise ship.
