Gone Girl,Lost Love

So umm I finally wrote a fic for these two, warning for spoilers for eps 55 onwards and if you have any requests or prompts then just send them ,i hope you enjoy

She disappears, she disappears right in front of his eyes. If he had been faster he could have gotten to her, if Mercedes had called earlier he could have saved but all in all no one did what they were supposed to do and she is gone. Eva is gone. 

It’s a weird feeling, one he can’t quite describe, one he can’t quite understand, one he has never felt before and just like everything Eva related it rattles him completely it, shaking him to his core and he doesn’t know how to deal with it. He has never known how to deal with her, and it’s so weird to understand why now, why she is so different than every other girl, pr everyone else really, he has ever met. And now he doesn’t know how to deal with her being gone. 

He is in denial at first, thinking, hoping really, that maybe, just maybe, they took her to another place, not another time and he is ready to tear down the school even Manzanares itself looking for her because no matter how angry he has been lately with her, no matter that all these soft, warm feelings that used to appear at the mere thought of her have turned into something messy, and hard and cold, he still doesn’t know how to live in a world where she isn’t around. 

He thought he could handle it,he thought that he could be away from her, go to Italy and just forget about all this mess, forget about her but now she is no longer at the tip of his fingertips, no longer a turn of the head away and he feels like his lungs don’t know how to work anymore, like his heart doesn’t know how to beat at the right pace without Eva’s being close to set the rhythm. 

But now she is gone and all he truly wants is to have her back. 

And maybe slap himself because he really spent the last few days avoiding her, being mad at her, instead of taking advantage of what ended up being their last moments together, he really implied he could only see her as a friend anymore, instead of making sure she knows just how much he loves her and that he will never stop loving her, because he is sure that he just can’t. 

It’s not like he isn’t angry anymore, it’s not like he isn’t still incredibly confused, but all those things don’t seem to matter at all now that he has lost her. None of these things seem to matter at all not that he probably is never going to see her. 

Because the cold hard truth is that he is probably never getting her back, and he will keep nursing this cold empty place in his chest instead of his heart.
