So, last time on Neon Genesis Evangelion, a whole bunch of romantic angst stampeded in and took over the episode. Asuka forced Shinji to kiss him, Rei sassed him up when he asked about his dad, Kaji broke Asuka's stone heart by possibly-sorta-kinda getting together with Misato, who worked through a bunch of her issues, and OH YEAH THEY FOUND A GIANT FUCKING CRUCIFIED ANGEL-HUMAN THING IN NERV'S LCL PLANT WHAT THE EVERLOVING FUCK.
