While Eva's abilities to manipulate emotion by touch never grow beyond a mild one, her ability to read and feel the emotions of others does strengthen as she gets older.

While Eva's abilities to manipulate emotion by touch never grow beyond a mild one, her ability to read and feel the emotions of others does strengthen as she gets older.
It took a while, but Robert and Eva regularly check in on each other and, about once a month, they meet up somewhere for a drink away from their mother's bar. She puts no demands on him and that is part of why the two of them get along so well.
Chayton is actually the one that taught Eva how to pick pockets and slip valuables off of assholes in bars. Cord was not amused.
