Once upon a time, there was a thing called OC kiss week...which gave me the perfect opportunity to draw one of Sorens Hadiden addictions XD ...then got excited. Started multiple drawings. Each having at least one new challenge for me that i never tried. Cuz i can never doodle or exercise anything, no i just do it. FUCK.  Keep my life interesting eh? XD As if i could ever finish in reasonable time even stuff im more or less used to. But nooooo, gotta try different techniques, different things, different angles, trying my hand in painting too on one cuz of course i would, etc, and every time i work i grab the one with the “adventure” im most up for that day, experimenting and learning... 

 ...and ofc the most anime style one got finalized line art first XD aww but Hadiden looks so CUTE anime style im totally gonna oversize eyes for him a lot  >:3  So i guess it will mostly stick :P Also im so glad i went for this surprised rotated tilt-up cuz look at the precious boy!!! Makes him look so innocent and pure and awwww

Storytime: when i decided on the exact moment of the scene to draw i dug up some references to help decide on the angle and saw this:

and got “omg YES... but lets tilt it even MORE for more impact, more challenge, not just copy”.... yeah... dont even say it XD nothing ever is difficult enough for the snail with the 5 year plans that are 5 hour plans for normal artist species. XD

So here we are, me finishing ONE line art, btw not the first drawing i started as u know, and posting it for the love of line art and also who knows when this thing will get shading and stuff so better have some decent stage filed away as “finished” XD i may even go mad and decide i want color on this one too and redo and then we can kiss goodbye to the concept of “soon”. I also cant wait to see them finished XD yet i totally can drag every insignificant step out... they are full of decisions and im so bad making those.

But, at least i get some progress on multiple ones in parallel, one day it has to pay up right? :3

1. What do they smell like? 

Maxwell often smells like ozone from his magic, herbs, and leather.

8. What’s the weirdest thing they’ve ever eaten?

Probably Wyvern. It was served at an Orlesian party he was forced to go to and he’s willing to try most things once.

11. What do they feel most insecure about?

Probably about his ability to lead. He’s never been a leader before becoming Inquisitor and he’‘s still not sure he’s right for it but he tries his best.

19. Are they right or left handed?

He’s actually ambidextrous and doesn’t really have a main hand but after getting the anchor he uses his right hand more.

20. Fears?

His main fears are losing his loved ones and tranquility

34. Least favorite food?

He doesnt care for mushrooms

35. Least favorite color?

His least favorite color is orange.

40. Do they have any scars?

He has various faded scars around his body from his time as Inquisitor but doesn’t gain any significant ones until Trespasser where the mark left branching scars all the way up his arm and shoulder.

42. Do they have any bad habits?

Has a bad habit of getting involved in trouble do to his curious nature, staying up late, and finger drumming

60. What is something that they’re sure to laugh at?

He loves a good pun

66. How do they feel about sex?

He’s very sex positive and loves to engage in it but he also doesn’t feel that it’s necessary for a relationship if his partner happens to be sex averse. He’s an adult and can take care of his own needs.

72. Are they allergic to anything?

As far as he knows nothing other than seasonal pollen

76. Are they good at cooking?

He’s actually a great cook. After leaving the Circle he had to learn to fend for himself and found he enjoys the activity.

84. What are some physical features that they find attractive on people?

Features that he’ll find attractive on other people are their eyes, lips/smiles, arms, legs, and chests.

His fear of losing his loved ones

ABCs of getting to know my muse(s)

For Maxwell Trevelyan

I) 2 things they really enjoy.

He really enjoys teaching people about magic and staff work. Back in the Circle he used to help the Senior Enchanters teach the young apprentices. He also really likes to explore old ruins and find out things about the past.

J) 2 things they’re not really fond of.

Though he doesn’t have anything against blood magic in theory, he’s not really fond of it due to the blood part being kind of grotesque to him. He’s also not fond of seafood dishes that have squid or octopus, though, he’ll eat anything if he has to.

K) 1 of their pet peeves.

He hates it when someone (mostly nobles or chantry folk) says “Do you know who I am?” It’s like nails on a chalkboard and makes him want to physically punch the person.

X) Do they have a goal in life? What is it?

His main goal in life was to gain his freedom and the freedom of other mages, and now that he has it he has two new goals: To live a happy life with his loved ones and to stop Solas from destroying their world.
