All this week we've featured Arizona pop-rockers RadioDriveBy! Rumored Nights Press had the pleasure of asking our "Band of the Week" a handful of questions on their musical journey thus far - influences, accomplishments, and what's in store for the future. Check it out below!
1. Your music has achieved worldwide success, and you’ve played shows and tours that stem outside of the U.S. (specifically in the Philippines). How has performing in different countries like this impacted you guys as a band?
It has seriously been a crazy ride, I think we are all still in awe of the opportunities we've been lucky enough to get. For us, it just adds fuel to the fire and has been the best motivation ever.
-Trent
2. You’ve performed with big artists such as Alice Cooper, All Time Low, etc. How have these experiences influenced you? On the same note - who (or what) are your biggest influences?
I'm really into the whole live show aspect, so sharing the stage with names such as Alice Copper or All Time Low has really influenced me so much. It's interesting to see how other bands and crews work on stage and how things are ran during a live set. One of my biggest influences is Ilan Rubin (Nine Inch Nails, Angels and Airwaves, Paramore, The New Regime). The guy is a crazy multi-instrumentalist and is so innovative with his creativeness.

3. You guys just recently released the AFTERGLOW EP. Do you guys have any more plans for EP (or LP) releases that you can share? If so, what direction are they headed musically?
We plan to continue writing and recording new music throughout the year. I don't know what direction we are going in quite yet, but we are going to see where it all takes us.
-Trent
4. You guys have a signature pop/rock sound. What do you think sets your music apart from other bands in your genre?
I think we are able to combine multiple styles into a song, and put our own spin on anything. I think our songs embody both the catchy pop sounds, but also with more complex elements and other styles mixed in.
-Adam
5. If you were getting a spot on any annual music festival in the world, which one would you choose?
Any one of the massive festivals in the UK. Like Reading and Leeds or like Glastonbury.
-Evan
6. Are there any bands or artists that you’d like to collaborate with on future projects?
For me personally, John Mayer is my biggest musical influence. So collaborating with him would be the dream. But for our band there are a ton of great acts we'd love to work with in our genre - All Time Low, Bruno Mars, Paramore, Maroon 5, etc...
7. Since this interview is for Rumored Nights Press, are there any strange or unusual rumors that you’ve heard about yourself or others that you’d care to share? (nothing too embarrassing or reputation destroying, of course)
I really don't think I've heard any rumors about our band yet! I would just say the closest to that would have been when we had two members leave last year - people thought the entire band was breaking up, and it was frustrating to try and make it clear that we weren't, at all! Haha. But you know how things can get easily misinterpreted online.
